Great quality however not quite as pictured; the lampshade sits lower than in the product images, obscuring the top of the base. There is also a solid piece of metal that protrudes down from the top of the base, from which the wire extends, which in my opinion slightly hinders the look of the lamp.

Lovely lamp really adds a striking piece to any room, I've used it in a bedroom but noted it would be perfect in my not so modern styled living room. It adds a touch of neoclassical modernist to the bedroom it's in. It's better around children than many lamps and has already taken many more bumps and falls than a previous 'child friendly' lamp has and survived. With my nearly adult children (calamity and angryangel are the nicknames to give you a clue on how rough life can be lol) around I'm shocked we haven't had a dent yet! Definitely worth every penny and I really am tempted to replace other lamps with these!

Slightly over priced but it fits in with other decor

Cable could have been hidden more and lamp shade is too easily knocked off balance but look great otherwise.
