I purchased this originally hoping to use it as an outdoor climbing crash pad, but soon realized that this would not be very practical for outdoor bouldering. As a result, I decided to keep it in my living room (as opposed to going through the hassle of finding a way to resell/return), and ended up being incredibly surprised at how useful this would become!It sits in the middle of my large sectional couch (which coincidentally creates an almost-perfect square), and accommodates a queen-size, fitted sheet PERFECTLY. As a result, I can change the color/appearance of this pad to match whatever decor scheme I have going on, by simply buying a queen-size fitted sheet. Not to mention, it's very easy to wash the sheets on a regular basis, which functions to protect the material of the pad itself.It serves so many purposes as a living room crash pad that again, are incredibly surprising:- People are able to rest their feet on it, like an ottoman.- When friends stay the night, it serves as a comfy little cot.- It's great for curling up and watching TV/movies with a few people.- It's a great place to grab a nap in the middle of the day.- I've used it to place against a wall and drive golf balls against.- And of course, it's great at it's intended function of cushioning falls/flips/jumps (I can now do a standing backflip!)My only gripe with this pad, is that it has no in/out air-flow solution. The pad is essentially a zippered air-tight vinyl bag with foam blocks inside (imagine a ziplock bag with a bunch of sponges inside). As a result, whenever anyone jumps on the crash pad, all of the air inside wants to rush out, and a lot of stress is placed on the weakest part of the pad, which is the zipper. SO FAR, the zipper has not broken as a result of this, however, from time to time, a crash will force it to unzip and several blocks will shoot out. I've found that keeping the zipper very slightly open allows some air to pass from inside the pad to out, and decreases the tension placed on the zipper itself, hopefully prolonging its lifespan. I'm currently considering running a small piece of hose from the inside to the out to create a permanent solution.I'd like to clarify why I labeled this as an educational product. I truly believe that products like this serve to increase a user's awareness of their body's balance and kinesthesia. Using this every day in a way that challenges you will almost certainly improve your whole body appreciation of orientation in space, as well as balance and core strength. But that's just my $0.02!Overall, for the price, this has turned out to be one of my favorite things in my house. I highly recommend to anyone that lives an active lifestyle, and enjoys feeling like a kid every now and again!

I was sent the wrong color so it didn’t go with my theme but other than that it was perfect and my son loves so I kept it. It’s soft but firm and great quality. I would definitely recommend

My son loves to do parkour haha hes 6. We got him this crash pad to help. Packaged tightly but when get spread out plumps up great. Thought was going to be little small but perfect size for him to jump flip. Soft enough that just after my gallbladder surgery I laid on it verse my couch. Only thing id like to see if maybe a handful more of the foam squares but im sure your can buy few extra.

Perfect product. The 5x5 is huge and magnificent!Shipping was very fast- faster than originally told.Box was banged up but the crash pad was not bothered at all.Get this. And get it now!Not something you want you fall from buildings from. But perfect for OT, sensory kids etc. my son is autistic and he adores it!After a full weekend of usage i have noticed some threads possibly weakening. But o will not pull them to find out. I am able to sew it up if it comes apart so no worries. I don’t see that happening tho- bc it’s SOLID.*update 2/9/21*This crash pad gets a TON of use. From heavier/older kids - to my 4 year old. Even my dogs try to get on it- it’s still holding strong!!!

Not blue, as advertised but not a big deal for us. Does the job! Comes in a smaller sized box, bundled in a tight ball of Saran Wrap but quickly fluffs up so it can be used immediately

We have had a crash pad in our family since our oldest boys were toddlers. It is great for them to tumble and wrestle on and as they got bigger and into gymnastics and "ninja moves" it has been continuously useful. It is also used on movie nights for a lounge area or sometimes a wiggle break area for kids who can't sit through a whole show. Our crash pad has been everywhere from basement to porch to grass and mud to living room and with four rowdy kids, it is no surprise that the original cover got ripped, torn, and dirty. This cover was out of stock each time I went to buy it for a while so I almost thought we might have to retire our crash pad. However I was able to grab one around Christmas-time and put it on to replace the original cover and it looks better than new now! It is a shiny nylon? blue cloth with air vents on the sides and a large zipper for removing and washing as needed. It can also be wiped down with a damp rag without removing. This product saved our crash pad, and we will continue to use it for many more years of jumps, flips, stunts, and horseplay!

My kids love this crash mat! Very thick and durable. Easy to clean as well.

My son with ASD really enjoys this for “oof-ing. ” However the carrying handle was completely sewn to the cover, making it unusable so it’s a good thing that overall it is very lightweight! Also, not sure what I was expecting as far as contents go, but it is basically the remnants from what I assume is a foam mattress company. It seems to do the trick but considering the price I expected more.
