Good buy!
You can either change the wattage or the temperature.I cooked an egg in a Granitestone Diamond PRO in two minutes at 140 Fahrenheit. The egg didn't brown at the edges and the yolks were nice and firm, a little runny.I can at least say this induction cooker workers great with both my 8-inch and 10-inch skillets. Tested with IR thermometer and there were no temperature differences.Would purchase again if I needed more than one. XD

Does everything it should but one unexpected non-product issue
Used this pretty consistently for a couple of weeks. Gets hot much much faster than our electric range plus I get the functionality of moving it wherever I need/want to cook. You can see that the coils aren't as large as they could be for pans >10".The oddest thing popped up that I hadn't expected. One of our dogs starts to act really strange when the burner is on. He hides off in one of the bedrooms and is usually trembling when we find him. After a while, I was able to correlate it to using the cooktop. It doesn't bother the other two dogs but if you notice pets acting strangely you might have a similar issue. Probably more a dog problem than a cooktop problem but when I stopped using it inside the house he went back to acting normal.

Best portable burner that I have tried
I originally purchased one of Sunavo's standard electric burners which did not not meet my needs. I returned and replaced that unit with an infrared burner from another manufacturer. It worked much better but was still not perfect. Sunavo's customer service department reached out to me and suggested that I give their CB-I11 induction burner a try. They sent me one to evaluate.Wow! This unit is far superior to either of the previous burners that I had tried. Yes, it costs about twice as much as the standard or infrared versions, but starting with the superior build quality and ending with far superior performance, the value is certainly there. This was my first experience with an induction burner and I was surprised at how well it worked. I now understand why one of my friends, who is a gourmet cook, replaced her high-end gas cook top with an induction model. The first thing I did after receiving this product was to do a test, comparing the I-11 with the 1200W infrared burner that I had purchased to replace the standard electric element burner which did not work very well for me. I filled a saucepan with two cups of room temperature water and, at the maximum setting, timed how long it took for the water to come to a full boil. In the case of the infrared burner it took about six minutes.Next I performed the same test using the I-11 at its maximum 1800W setting. I was very surprised that this unit completed the test in less than three minutes. To be fair, I performed the same test using the I-11 on its 1200W setting. I was equally surprised that even at the lower setting, the I-11 completed the test in just over three minutes, twice as fast as the infrared burner.Compared to both the standard burner and the infrared burner, the I-11 induction burner heated up and cooled down much more quickly, a very nice feature. As impressed as I am with this product, I am even more impressed with Sunavo's excellent customer service. I certainly did not expect that they would respond to my disappointment with the first burner that I purchased by sending this top-of-the-line burner for me to evaluate. After testing several devices head to head, I am confident that I have found the best portable burner for my needs. Kudos to Sunavo for a great product and terrific customer service.

Can maintain a steady high heat, safe to use, easy to clean, wonderful customer service.
I have been searching for a portable hotplate that was useful for cooking foods at a steady high heat, such as Asian cuisine. Many electric hotplates have a function built in, as I've come to understand, that causes them to cut off the heat after a few minutes for safety purposes, and the heat is uneven thereafter. This portable induction stove top surpasses all others I've tried out so far. After unboxing it, and reading the instructions, I tested it out, and it can achieve, and maintain, a stable high heat without having to shut down for safety reasons, as induction cooking is far safer and doesn't run the risk of overheating the way non induction hotplates do. You will need induction compatible cookware, which is any cookware with a bottom made out of a magnetic metal material. There is a magnet in the box, along with a pot holder towel. You can use the magnet to test whether cookware you own is compatible by seeing if it sticks to the bottom of your cookware, or if it turns out you don't have compatible cookware, you can take the magnet to a store like I did, to find cookware with bottoms that the magnet would stick to. Turns out a lot of cookware nowadays are made to be induction compatible, and say so on their packaging, so they were easy to find. The induction stovetop was very easy to clean after use as well. I definitely recommend this portable stovetop. I would also recommend Sunavo in general. Their customer service is amazing, and it's very clear they take pride in their products and care about their customers. I had a problem with a previous product because I didn't understand the built in safety feature, and they immediately got in contact with me, and explained it. They then helped me find exactly what i was looking for, and I have to say I was very impressed. I've never had a company with customer service that seems to care this much. I'm very happy with it.

Barely works as a brew pot heat source
I use this out on the patio as a heat source for brewing beer as my family doesn't like the smell indoors. I use it with a 4 gallon stainless brew pot (usually around 2.5 gallons full), and maxxed out, it gets my brew to about 208 degrees. For making the wort (150-160 degrees), it's fine, but for the boil, inadequate.

Powerful
This can bring 4 quarts of cold water to a boil faster than my stovetop. Nicely powered for a standalone.
