Quality Fixture
It's an expensive plastic part, but looks and feels extremely well made. Fits the Grohe Rotaflex hose and Rainshower elbow perfectly for a really clean install. Seems sturdy, expect it will hold up well.

I'm not paying $42 for a thin piece of plastic.
I'm not paying $40 for a thin piece of plastic in a box that looks like it's been around the world 10 times.You have to be kidding me right? I expected solid brass, imagine my surprise. no wonder the box and packaging look like they have been resold a bunch. What a joke. Total misrepresentation of the quality name. I will be returning quick!

It matches the look of GROHE fixtures but...
It is as described, but disappointingly it is made out of plastic. For the cost and to be shipped from UK had hoped for better.

The matching Grohe hand shower does not fit in this holder
I cannot get the hand shower to fit in this holder - not even close. . Any ideas? I will have to return it if it is not usable.

Very cheaply made, at a very high price.
This product was very cheaply made, at a very high price, and had to pay high shipping costs from Germany. I would not buy any Grohe products based on this cheap device. Luckily Amazon has a great return policy.
