I wasn't disappointed with this next book in the series. This one had more surprises but was still predictable for me even though it still didn't take away from the story itself for me. Erica had a few tough lessons to learn and since she's so bullheaded she had to learn them the hard way.I appreciated her reuniting with Elliott. I'm glad that was a part of this book. I sympathized with Elliott for some reason so I was glad for the introduction.I'm not sure how I feel about Marie and her beau. I didn't like him though from the beginning so I guess I'm glad his character won't be returning.And as far as her Dad. Geesh!! Drop him like a hot potato and RUN!! I get that he's your only living parent but my word! He nearly got you killed!! AND he's put hits out on people. Your goody two shoes rapport can't hang with the likes of him.And Blake. Swoon...He and Erica deserve each other. Hands down. I'm also so thankful that Blake's family loves Erica as much as she loves them. Makes my heart happy.Loved the wedding! Bring on the honeymoon!!!

Holy hawtness Batman...can this series get any better? I dunno...but my guess is, uh...a resounding, crescendoing "YES"! Betrayal, vengeance, political corruption, drama and suspense....murder....this epic story holds so much more than mere romantic intrigue. And Erica Hathaway has a profound understanding and realization of how quickly priorities fall into place when your life...your very life is on the line. When you almost lose your life...the seriousness of that moment puts everything into perspective, and you suddenly appreciate the smallest things that we normally take for granted.Erica Hathaway is a petite blond and sassy bombshell with blue, blue eyes. She has a hellfire spirit that only Blake Landon can tame... she's his drug that he refuses to live without. And Blake...my gawd...he's a testosterone menace that I'm completely in love with. Can a power couple BE anymore hawt??!? I don't think so...Personally I don't care how many books it takes to get this story told. I don't care that there are cliffhangers...I'm addicted and completely sold out to this fabulously told series, and the longer it takes for the story to be told (within reason - - I mean, let's don't get carried away..)...well, it just makes the story-telling detailed, descriptive, proper and correct. This is a series..the story cannot be told in one or two installments. The details take time to lay out and it's the details that make it what it is. Brilliant!This fourth installment was no less addicting and consuming as the first three installments. This continues to be one of those fabulous roller coaster rides that gives a total "body grab"...the ride that causes your tummy to flip. It's completely engulfing me... making me incapable of putting the story down. Nothing got done...everything was neglected...and if I WAS able to set the story down briefly, my concentration was worthless...completely gone as I could think of nothing but getting back to my story. I loved this story and Ms. Wild hit that ball outta the park with this fabulous plot of romance and dramatic suspense. This author has the fantastic ability/talent (or at least this humble reader thinks so..), of portraying and unfolding each scene to its zenith with technicolor and brilliant clarity building to a fabulous ear splitting crescendo. Before the reader is even aware what has happened, this author has you captured and enthralled with the storyline as it deepens and the plot thickens. Character descriptions are spot on. Dialogue is original and well balanced with just enough narration told in first person. I love how Ms. Wild painstakingly draws the reader into a slightly mysterious, yet sweet and intriguing romantic plot and leads us, inch by wonderfully delicious slow inch, through each step and phase of progression of Erica and Blake's hawt connection. Ms. Wild so capably and thoroughly conveys the angst and drama that Erica finds herself in...as well as the wonderful progression and raw excitement of the newness of the beginning of a hawt mutual connection between two people. Outstanding. There's no rush and because Ms. Wilds' talented capabilities..because of her expert writing, the reader has no choice but to feel connected as one with the main characters...there is no other alternative than to fall into the emotional romantic excitement . The journey is absolutely exquisite and delightful throughout. It never loses momentum. I loved the attraction between Erica and Blake and how it quickly grows into a raging inferno. She's soft to his hard- - she's sunshine to his dark. She's innocence to his roughness. And they quickly become lost without the other. Blake becomes her reason to plan a tomorrow. And I absolutely LOVE how Erica unintentionally continues to make mincemeat out of his best controlling intentions...only to realize how wrong she is to bind him; to tighten the reins on his control. Their relationship grows when she finally allows him in completely...to protect her and keep her safe. He not only becomes her reason for breathing...he becomes the very air itself. And she's the thrum of his pulse and every whisper of his conscience....and he is hers. Erica is just as consumed with him. Brilliant Ms. Wild. Absolutely brilliant writing.

Well, this was a new author for me. I must say, I really appreciated the correct grammar, punctuation, spelling and correct word choice. Oddly, I've found that to be missing a lot in this day of self-publishing. As for the story itself, well there are enough twists to make it interesting but I find myself slightly annoyed that I will have to read the FIFTH book in this series to tie up all the loose ends. I really dislike this new trend authors have of writing books with cliff hanger endings. I thought it was bad with shorter books, but this series---the books are fairly long. I just felt there was way more filler than substance to them. Then with regard to the BDSM plot line. Lord knows, the only experience I have with that is in books. Others I've read , though, show a much different aspect of a "good Dom". After care is never mentioned. Blake several times seems to be forcing Erica into things she really, really doesn't want to do. He doesn't even try to ease her into them just says he knows she'll enjoy it. And the "punishment" scenes just seem more like beatings from a place of anger than a pain to pleasure journey. All in all, these books just reinforce my wish that authors would put the entire story in one book and save the series books for satellite characters.

This was more of a 3.5/4 stars for me as I definitely loved the previous books more.I found that I was beginning to like Blake a lot less in this book - It's as if Erica is not allowed to have fun without him, even when she was having a girls night out for her hen night Blake had to dictate everything and I just kept thinking 'jheeze just give her one night!'.I also felt that she was so stupidly in love with him that she will let him do anything to her as some of the sexual scenes (the anal ones) seemed a bit forced on her when she's in obvious pain. However I loved it when she changed the roles in the bedroom.Apart from that I enjoyed the book as I've been reading Blake and Erica's story from the beginning. They're still madly in love and the author threw in some good twists.

....jees, the hits just keep on coming!!!Blake and Erica haven't had it easy from the get-go but they keep going and they keep getting stronger 😊An excellent next instalment to their story, which is full of ups and downs - and don't forget passuon....believe me you will be squirming!!!

It took me less than a week to read the hacker series, after reading 50 shades and then an emotional novel called be before you I was looking for a little excitement, this was full of drama, emotions and love, i loved every book and just couldn't rest until I knew what happened next I loved 50 shades of grey but this topped it and is so much better as it's more realistic and didn't once make me cringe or laugh through embarrassment as 50 shades had, I'm now searching for my next book but I can't find it to give up on the story I could go on and read about Erica and blake's everyday life forever sad I know haha thank you for a brill book series Meredith wild!!!!! :)

This series of books are an emotional rollercoaster. My heart is full of love and angst and everything in between for what Erica and Blake go through with their friends, families and themselves. Heading to the last book in the series to see what Meredith Wild has in store. Absolutely recommended.

Ive read all the books and this one is alot better than the last one, it was interesting to read about blakes past because in the last book his actions confused the hell out of me at least i understand him more now. Theres a good amount of drama in book 4 and i will read book 5. I dont know why it is though but i dont love these books, im reading now just to see how it all ends.

I enjoyed it nearly as much I have the other the three, I do hope the books don't go on for ever as much as I enjoy them it would totaly spoil the whole series. If the fifth book doesn't conclued the story the sixth definatly should or it will, in my opinion not look good for Meredith, pride in a good series for a writer should mean more than just money.

I loved that we got a closer look at these two together. Some unexpected twists and some closure on others. Can't wait to see what's in store for their finale.

This is a must read The whole hacker series is brilliant from start to finish a series you could read again and again, it had me glued from the very beginning.What I love about these books is that they're not predictable like a lot of books on the market right now.So looking forward to book number 5 :)

Talk about a cliff hanger. I love the way Blake looks after and loves Erica. Wish my man had just a little of that. I am looking forward to reading book 5 and will keep an eye on it coming out. Tried to pre-order for my kindle but couldn't.

Phew !!! That's a cliff hanger I want Trevor found and strung up. This is more intense then Fifty Shades of Grey!!! You can not read it fast enough to see what will happen next....the characters are very intense...a must read now waiting for no 5 !!!

We delve further into the love and work lives of Erica and Blake as they try to find a balance acceptable for each individually and together.Some of it is uncomfortable reading but it didn't stop me!Looking forward to the next in the series.

This book had soo much drama. Im totally addicted to this series.I have laughed and cried and been horrified by this book. I could not put it down. Highly recommend.

Again another fantastic book in this series. A lot of twists and turns for Blake and Erica wanting you to turn each page to see what's going to happen in their future. Looking forward to seeing what is next in their chapter of life. Hoping for a happy ever after - role on spring/summer
