Price is much better than local stores. Easy to fix the Velcro, just put top piece on the attached strips, push picture in place. Well made and very attractive looking. I like having canvases made at local pharmacy and using these frames. Classy and affordable!

I rarely take the time to write a review, but this frame is so great that I bought 4 more. My son is an artist, and I wanted something that would highlight the painting. This fits the bill. It is solid wood with saw tooth hangers for vertical or horizontal hanging. It comes with 4 velcro strips to attach to the painting so it appears to float in the frame. Installation took 5 minutes. Good product, reasonable price. That's a winner.

These frames dramatically improve the look of your 16 x 20 canvas paintings. With that, I am 100% satisfied. However, I'm giving it 4 stars for the following reason and suggesting one minor change to the manufacturer...Your canvas prints will adhere to the frame via a hook-and-loop tape strip. However, one side of the tape strip is already applied to the frame AND stapled on. If you stick the other half of the tape strip directly to the part that's already on the frame, it might not adhere directly to your painting, and we all know that canvas frames can vary in size. Also, because it's supposed to look like the paintings are floating within the frame, you can see the black hook-and-loop tape around the edges of the paintings, which I thought looked tacky. I ended up purchasing a roll of my hook-and-loop tape and pulling up all the pre-stuck/stapled tape from the frames. I then applied my tape directly to the back of my canvas paintings and then placed it into the frame. Doing this kept any black tape from showing behind the paintings. It would save the manufacturer a significant amount of time if they would just place the precut tape into a bag and let the consumer attach it themselves. I purchased 14 frames for my paintings, so it was a project to remove all of that sticky tape! As to value...I watched a video on how to build my own frames and thought I could do it. However, I needed 14 frames. By the time I priced out how much it would cost for all the materials (and that didn't count labor putting them together), I realized that for not much more $$, I could just buy the premade ones and be done with it. These frames were the most affordable frames I could find, and again, the quality is excellent.

These are better than I expected. Very sturdy. Nice and thick. The color is a nice matte black. The hangers were attached so it was super easy to hang. My only warning is to place the Velcro strips on the painting near the edge to be sure they connect to the Velcro on the frame.

The dimensions listed are for the outer frame and not for the size of the picture inside. I returned it.

I had purchased from Etsy a canvas picture of my cat. I wanted something stylish to put it in and I wasn't even aware this type of frame existed. Put the matching velcro strips on the back of my canvas and carefully aligned it into the frame. Extremely stylish.
