Liquitex Professional Effects Medium, 237ml (8-oz), Glass Beads

Ok we all no Liquitext is great. These glass beads are easy to spread than color for a nice textural effect. This review addresses an in going problem people have with receiving items that are open , busted and leaking all over the packaging. ART, Textures compatible with other products leanding amazing results. As you can see from My unfinished picture… THE SOUND OF SILENCE , “ SPEAKS”. THE only thing I would require is to buy a larger quantity.

If you like playing with texture in your paining or art journaling this is great. It holds the beads firmly without adding too much additional medium, but it does add some. You can add paint to tint it but it does thin the pigment load.If you are art journaling, you need to use one that has heavy paper like the one from Ranger. As you'd expect the glass beads add weight to the page as well as texture. There are many create uses for this medium.

Glass bead medium is very cool for creating textures for acrylic paintings, it dries clear! I like the effect, I used it to create daisy flowers!The beads are very consistent in shape!It is on the pricier side but the quality is very good!

I used Golden first. Fell in love with it. So I thought I'd try the Liquitex version. For me, I prefer the more "paste" like Golden version. Liquitex is fine, creamier texture, dries clear & it does produce a beautiful result. But for me, I like the Golden just a bit more. As it offers that "rougher" end result. Which I think makes for a more *dramatic* effect.It really comes down to what you want when using a glass bead texture medium. Both brands are quality products. Happy creating! ♥

Love this product. I refinish furniture and use this product to create a raised stencil design. Looks great after and can be painted. I have used all kinds of water based paints on it; Annie Sloan, Dixie Belle etc.

This medium is awesome! Liquitex is absolutely my favorite brand for acrylic paints and mediums. I love that all of their products are inter-mixable and the Glass Beads really compliment my artwork. I used the beads for the first time on the painting that I attached to this review. They are fun to work with.
