The muzzle itself is good. It is flexible and comfortable. We had no problem with it fitting. Unfortunately, the buckle is cheap plastic and pulls apart easily making it unsafe and not useful. It is also complicated to adjust. The strap has to be threaded through the center strap or it will just pull out and the muzzle will fall off. Maybe I received a defective one but I cannot find a way to contact the seller. Update: the seller contacted me through Amazon and sent a replacement muzzle. The new muzzle is great and has no problem with the buckle. I found that the literature provided has a contact email so keep that in case you need it. The adjustment issue is still there with the back strap having to go through the center strap buckle but that doesn’t impact the muzzle and its usefulness. It should be 4 stars with of the initial issue but I’m giving it 5 stars because of the great customer service.

I ordered medium because that's what my heeler wears in cloth muzzles, it is a Lil big but I will order again a smaller one and donate this one to someone in need. I also lent it to try on my BFFs dog and she likes it too, so I sent her a link to get one which she'll need 1 size down too. My dog can comfortably pant to cool herself and drink water easily and properly. She even can take small snacks as well. She sat at attention as always and had no problem receiving this new muzzle. What's even better, it suits a Heeler head perfectly, heeler skulls an necks are built so differently they easily can slip out of puzzles just by alignment and use their paw to hold and pull. Not this one!! I am pleased and relieved. The muzzle is soft and maleable yet sturdy an firm. It has Highly adjustable straps! Top and bottom strap are good, somewhat confusing at first but i understand how to operate it after a minute. The weight is absolutely perfect 👌 it is there but comfortable for my dog. The appearance is excellent and hopefully backs people Off of my heeler who is an early retired reactive working breed who's going blind at 5 yro. This will help her stay safe from questionable people.

Sizing is accurate. My only complaint is it doesn’t loop around the collar to keep my dog from pawing it off. I wrapped it around her collar and it worked perfectly. She wasn’t able to get it off. She had plenty of room to lick and pant without discomfort. Definitely a good buy

I bought this in December, used it about 12 times... cheap plastic clip broke. Return window closed a few days ago. Its a nice muzzle, my 75lb pit bull didn't mind it. We would put it on her when kids were over as she likes to nibble on arms/legs/toes for attention. Too bad it lasted only 5-6 weeks. Going to try to reach out to manufacturer to see if they will do anything. I will update review if anything comes of it.

Measurements are off this was still to small for my Great Dane. I will had to add another strap so her snout isn’t pushing against the basket. Otherwise it fits.

This muzzle worked out ok. It generally fit as expected, though I would have preferred if it had been a little bigger. Its not terribly heavy, which is nice, and the plastic is smooth and durable. I like the fit of the muzzle as it doesn't cover the eyes and the straps fall in the right places for my dog's head. With it on, my dog can chew, though it is minimal. I would have like it better if it had a strap on the back of the muzzle to attach it to my dogs collar though. I do worry about his claws getting caught in the muzzle if he tries to take it off, but training is going well, and its my hope he'll just leave it alone.

First and foremost, these fit true to size and allow for panting room. I would like for a little more pant room, but it is sufficient for my needs. It is easy to put on and take off, and the buckle straps are angled to help the muzzle stay on in a more natural fit. I train all my dogs for muzzles for safety reasons, and this one works very well for training and for daily usage. It is sturdy and firm but still allows the dog to drink, and to take treats through the bottom. It can be used with or without the strap and I change it depending on which dog is wearing it. One of my dachshunds is a houdini and the head strap makes a big difference, though he has a very hard time getting this one off even without the head strap. It is light weight enough that my elderly dog has no trouble wearing it around and fits true to measurements.

I don't frequently leave negative reviews at all I try not to be a negative person but in this instant product failed immediately.... The shipping was fast the plastic used seems to be of high quality the plastic used seems to be of a high quality! But the design is lacking my German Shepherd mix had it off within 5 minutes of getting it adjusted correctly I measured person out before ordering referred to the guide for sizing adjusted it put it on her and in minutes she had used her paws to put claws in the hole and loosen the strap it was like great mom I did it do you have another puzzle for me! Moments after her dismantle my other dog followed suite and had it off before I was able to get the rest of hers off he was gentler in his dismantle but nonetheless, this may be great for some dogs but if you have mildly intelligent dogs like Bernese mountain/Collie or German shepherds/ lab mix this is not for them!!! (They looked so happy they had completed the puzzle so quickly they sat waiting for there treat 😩) I bought them because I wanted something humane but that also assisted in this destructive chewing when unsupervised as an alternative to having to crate them.
