Kirby Generation 4 Hose/Machine End Suction-Blower Connection for Kirby G 4

Perfect replacement for the hose end of the Kirby IV vacuum. There were no instructions with the part, but I found a video on line that explained perfectly how to swap out the part. Worked perfectly. Would recommend this if you need the hose end replaced.

YouTube how to replace. Took 2 min. Super easy and works as it should. From what I’ve seen on YT, it won’t work for kirbys newer than the g4 as the hose connection is to rigged.

since my kirby is pretty ancient we didn't think we'd find replacement parts easy let alone cheap. we had rigged up our broken one for months before I decided to just look and there it was for less than $20. Fit perfectly and my husband had it attached in less than 5 minutes.

Exact replacement for the part I broke. Pretty easy to remove the old part and install the new part. Much cheaper than replacing the entire hose.

Installing it wasn't too bad. Just watched a video on YouTube. It was cheaper to order it here, rather than on eBay or through Kirby.However, THIS IS DOES NOT FIT THE GEN 4 CORRECTLY! The two hooks on either side of the attachment are not spaced wide enough to hook over the metal rod on the vacuum. I was still able to make it work, but it's a very tight fit and I was worried I was going to crack the attachment when trying to lock it into place. It still works, so just be careful.

I when to the local kirby dealer to pick up a new hose on my very old G4 only to find out they wanted $45.00 for a used one. HOLY COW I just wanted the hose not the whole vacume. the clerk did offer to repair mine for $25.00. I said how do you put the new end on. and Ill just do it myself. she said it was a secret and would not tell me. OK well I went home got on You Tube and typed in Kirby vacume hose repair watched the secret repair technique order the part and for 15 bucks fixed it myself. this part is exactly like my old one I am sure it is and original .
