Before I bought this, I saw more expensive versions and I was worried this one might be cheaper and boy was I wrong. This thing is a heavy duty shackle and I used it to pull my Dodge ram out of the mud. It worked great, is heavy weight, and is a good addition to my Recovery gear. I recommend! And here’s a little pro tip for you. After putting the shackle on your tow strap and fastening into your frame back off the screw just slightly after flushing it and they’ll be less of a chance the shackle bolt binds. If you’re worried about your tow strap snapping, place a jacket over the middle of the tow strap, and if it does snap, the recoil will be lessened. Have fun boys!

Bought 4 for my pick-up. 2 front and 2 back. Very handy if you spend any time overlanding or helping folks that get stuck. I was worried about someone loosening them and taking them but I put a little thread lock, no issues.
