000 is scratching my windows in my RV and getting my VERY stubborn water spots of..I’d better get 0000 in 3M. Other brand stuff won’t get water spots off even in 00, but doesn’t scratch my windows either.

I bought both the 3M synthetic 0000 and 000 steel wool for a project to turn a gloss finished polyurethane guitar neck into more of a satin finish. I tried the white 0000, and it made no change, so it's more of a final finishing/polishing grit. So I bought the grey 000, and that's what I was originally looking for. It will leave shavings if caught on sharp points, but like a fraction of real steel wool, enough to forgive, as it won't affect electromagnetic parts. But this will bring a gloss finish to more satin with the surface scratching. But it'll easily go back to gloss too either with 0000 white or another product. Would recommend to people looking for coarser than polish but finer than true coarse/cutting products.

It works good just like 00 steelwool

It is 👍 at cleaning burned on cooking mess and scrubbing items have cooking grease and residue. It doesn't rust and fall apart like SOS pads after several uses.

Synthetic steel wool is an awesome invention. I use it for cleaning stainless steel, cleaning copper plumbing, getting soap scum off glass shower doors, and scrubbing the hard water marks in toilet bowls.

Received quickly and as expected. I would recommend.

This is so much cleaner to use. Does not leave rust or tiny pieces of steel fiber all over your hands, the desk. Works wet or dry. Rinse out with rubbing alcohol to keep new.

Works "ok". Still sheds small particles like the "steel" wool. Durability is so-so. Performed it's need of helping to sand down some primer on a very contoured piece of wood between painting coats.

I bought this product after experimenting with various scrubbers that I purchased from Amazon. Unlike the three other scrubbers that I purchased and returned this product does the job pretty well. I get hard water in my apartment and often find that it leaves stains on my stainless steel kitchen vessels. I'm able to remove the stains with this scrubber and don't find any scratch marks on my vessels after using the scrubber.

I wanted this as a replacement for steel wool to help clean a 3D printer PEI sheet with IPA Cleaner. Still trying to figure if the IPA is breaking down this product and leaving a tiny residual. Persevering for now.
