Liam Wong: TO:KY:OO

Photos itself by Liam Wong are great! But I think artist like this deserve better quality print that I often see in smaller publications.Also packaging by Amazon is awful...... 3 of 4 corners of my book are dented. There was too much space in package and it happened in transport :( I rather prefer buying in smaller bookstores that are dedicated to albums. They know how to treat them!Thank God Liam's photos are so great that I don't see those corners, but albums like this you want in perfect condition!!!

Beautiful book!! I can see myself looking through it many many times. Makes me wish I was in Japan right now. Preferably after midnight :)

I was so excited about getting this book. I have been a fan of Liam for a long time. The book design is slick. The captions and photo descriptions are great. But somehow the pictures don't look as sharp. They definitely look beautiful online and on the computer screen. I think the quality of the paper print - or inks are below par. My guess is that the blacks are not as pure so the contrast is low and the pictures tend to look dull. I believe this is the first time Liam prints and there are many hurdles to accomplish. None of tis takes away the amazing talent from Liam. He has a unique eye and I am proud to have one of his books. Hopefully next time, the print quality will improve and I would not mind mind buying it again - or come up with Volume 2.

It didn't take as long as I thought it would. I loved every page! It is soothing, and exciting to see Tokyo through his eyes because I move to Japan next month. I love how the artist seems to love rain. The colors remind of Vincent van Gogh. There are also some photos that reminded of Final Fantasy 7 remake. Thank you and I recommend this book! I'll buy the Japanese version next. It is worth every penny!

I've been waiting for the chance to buy this book for more than a year, since I've been following Liam Wong's work for some time, at it didn't disappoint at all. Every photograph is an absolute pleasure to look at, and shows real talent and passion. Hope to see his next publication soon!

I've been waiting for this book for years and it was well worth the wait. Liam Wong's work transforms night time Tokyo into an aesthetic cyberpunk Dreamland. This book is beautiful and also features a foreword from Hideo Kojima. This book is perfect for Tokyo lovers, Photographers and video game fans alike! Would highly recommend!😁🌃💜💙💜

Incredible book. Amazing photographs from an amazing artist. Cyberpunk enthusiasts will love this, very bladerunner-esque in content. Premium quality paper and hardback binding, the photographs are clear and visually stunning. All round a fantastic purchase.

There are lots of good photos in this book but it's clear that the photographer edited these photos to be viewed on a computer/phone screen. Transferred to print in this book the pictures look dull and dark. I've been to Japan many times and know first hand what Tokyo looks like at night. Overall its a good book but with printing/editing issues leaving the pictures lacking. This might be artistic style but left me feeling a little underwhelmed.

I am a photographer myself and I think I did find my phot-nirvana with this book. The images are spot on, the colours are amazing and give so many nuances to the photos. If you are a fan on videogames and you are fascinated by Tokyo this is a book you cannot miss.

This is such a beautiful book and I'm taking my time going through it enjoying the photography. The only down side is that some of the images go across two pages which means the spin goes through them. I would have preferred to keep the image A4 size and just turned the book to the side to view it. Other than that a lovey book.
