OHMphrey, a jam band supergroup, which features three members of the prog rock/veteran jam band Umphrey's McGee (keyboardist Joel Cummins, guitarist Jake Cinninger and drummer Kris Myers), and OHM guitarist (former Megadeth guitarist), Chris Poland along with bassist Robertino Pagliari (a.k.a. "Pag").

Unbelievably good!
This is one of the best fusion albums I've ever bought. Poland and Cinninger interweave lines that take your breath away. Each track is powerful, melodic, rhythmically interesting and memorable. For my tastes, track 7 was not quite as engaging as the others, but that's just me. It's a cool tune though. The last 2 tracks are beautifully endless. One is 10 minutes of bliss and the other is 20. Not a dull moment.Poland plays with abandon and urgency. Cinninger lays down lines that are more precise, but just as interesting as Poland. The bass player really cements this band together. If you like fusion that's a bit edgy, that is far more in line with Tribal Tech and CAB than Vital Information and RTF, you'll love this.

Great record
In my opinion, this second release by OHMPHREY is much better than their first record. The self titled is great but most of the guitar solo/melody on POSTHASTE sounds more inspired and melodic on most part, so does the keyboard playing. I dont know how to explain it in a word but songs on POSTHASTE sounds more like a real song while some songs on the self titled record sounds more like a long jam session if that make sense :). TOTALLY RECOMMANDED stuff!

Amazing!
I really enjoyed their first, self titled album, but Posthaste takes it to a whole new level of excellence. Each track definitely sounds more composed and I like how the album seems to get more and more chill as it progresses. The bonus tracks are awesome as well. I've seen Umphrey's 25 times and they're one of my favorite bands, but I haven't yet gotten the chance to see this side project, OHMphrey. The bonus tracks have given me a good idea of what to expect from the supergroup in a live setting. Their improv is extraordinary, which of course isn't surprising coming from these five amazing musicians. Ever since I purchased the album, it has been one of my regular go-tos for listening pleasure. Definitely one for the technical music loving musician that I am.

OHMphrey - Posthaste
A MUST BUY ... SIMPLY AMAZING. A continuation from their first album and with Posthaste ... it only gets better. Chris Poland is definitely a wizard on the guitar and Pag on bass, what more could you ask for. It is a JAM session throughout, from the first song to the last. Highly recommended.
