Surfactant Foam Babassu Babassuamidopropyl betaïne The Babassu foam is used as a very mild co-surfactant, to boost the foaming power of your formulas and provide additional properties, particularly at the capillary level where it has a conditioning and antistatic effect. Foam babassu advantageously replaces cocoamidopropyl betaine because it is softer. Contrary to the latter, its manufacturing process is perfectly controlled and does not use excess reagents causing irritating residues. Derived from the fatty acids of the oil and babassu Cosurfactant soft foam booster and smoothing hair Plant origin: babassu oil INCI: Babassuamidopropyl betaine Babassuamidopropyl betaine 34 to 38% (in aqueous solution) Translucent liquid light yellow Amphoteric surfactant (electrically neutral between pH 4 and 8) As co-surfactant to boost foaming of a mixture and provide additional properties to the formula: Shower gels, liquid soaps, cleansers for the face, hands, personal hygiene Shampoos, conditioners and lotions Bubble baths and push-foam Gels cleansers and shampoos for children and babies A low dose 2-3%, the babassu foam can be used as surfactant alone, without rinsing, in type formulas micellar water, removing lotions.
