Tried out all the items in this little bundle, and they are a good buy for the price. As somebody with over a dozen stringed instruments, I can never have too many picks or capos. The only thing I dislike is that the picks are a bit thicker than what I usually go with when I play mandolin, but that can be easily overlooked because picks are relatively cheap.Overall, I'd definitely recommend it if you aren't too dedicated to a certain brand of string. The capo holds up pretty well as well, though it feels as if the capo and picks were intended for guitar judging by the thickness of pick and size of capo. It still fits a mandolin or banjo pretty well, though and when I run out of strings, I'd probably purchase again if available seeing how 4 dollars a pack is cheap for strings.

I bought my son a Mandolin for Christmas and decided to get these along with it. They're good quality, I've purchased the set for the acoustic/electric guitar in the past. It's always good to have an extra set of strings on hand especially when learning a new instrument and with this set he has all he needs to toss in his case and go.

This is a good little beginner kit. I have used everything in it except the strings. There's a nice selection of hard picks, and the winder did just what I needed. The capo goes on and comes off smoothly. Would definitely recommend for someone starting out learning mandolin.

Great starter pack. Kpo was hard to attach. But all in all good value pack for the $$
