I run a laundry business out of my house and a lot of my highly concentrated detergent requires 2tbsp. This scoop is perfect for that and makes it easier so I’m not having to dump a 1tbsp from my kitchen twice. Now I have one for laundry and one for cooking/baking

These are great little scoops. OXO makes really good products, I've found, same as Joseph Joseph, and these live up to their standard. We specifically use them to measure washing detergent, stain remover etc... given that all they give you these days is a tiny, fragile paper measuring cup (or nothing at all). Although this isn't as accurate as those cups, you quickly get used to them, and you quickly come to realise how much - or how little - you should put into each scoop to match your washing detergent etc. Naturally, you can also measure it out by tipping a full "dose" of the manufacturer's measuring cup into an OXO scoop (or two) and then go from there. They are solidly built, reliable, and I've had them for a year now, and they haven't skipped a beat. No need to throw them away, and as I said, they just do a good job. They'd be great for coffee beans etc as well, I'm sure. I have no doubt that a scoop would last years - yes, they're made of plastic, but it is very sturdy plastic, you'd really have to try hard if you wanted to snap one.
