These socks changed my life!!
I have been a long distance runner my entire life and love that running is a low maintenance, cheap sport. I don't believe in spending a lot of money on gear - I always buy my running shoes on sale and don't go all fancy on my clothing. A $50 shirt won't make you faster - running fast and a lot will make you faster :) The one thing that always gets to me during marathons is how beat up my poor feet get. Blisters, dead toenails, you name it. I thought I was wearing ok socks - I didn't wear the cheapest cotton socks, but I'd buy the 6 pack of some brand that cost $10-$15 for the pack. Then I decided to give these a try and my life has changed. These are really worth the investment if you are a long distance runner - I get waaaay less blisters, if any. I can't believe it took me 20 years to figure this out. I've tried other brands of $10+ socks and I like them all, though these are probably my favorite and they come in lots of fun colors!!

The best socks I have ever worn for running.
From the moment I received these socks I could tell they were well built and of quality materials. I'm an ultramarathoner, running distaces of up to 100 miles, and have tried every brand of socks known to man (drymax, smartwool, injinji, balegas, wigwam, you name it). Swiftwick beats them all hands down. To date, no blisters while wearing them. They don't bunch up like some others do. The sizing is true. I've only worn them up to 50 miles at a time so far and haven't yet endured "extreme weather" in them so I'm interested to see how they will perform in some rainy, muddy stuff. So far, they are great in the already oppressive Texas heat. Buy a pair. I own the low cut and the 2 inch. The 2 inch seems perfect for single track. For roads, I'd opt for low cut. Gonna buy a pair of the 12 for recovery.

Feels great
These socks feel great and are holding up great. I have a tendency to wear holes in the toes of socks in my normal walking and running. I ride a bicycle at work all day and found that my feet feel better at the end of the day in some socks more than others.I decided to try out several higher end socks. I bought a pair of Darn Tough wool socks, a pair of Swiftwick Pursuit zero wool socks, and these Swiftwick Performance socks. All three pairs of socks were great compared to the various cheap pairs I had bought in the past. This pair stood out from the two wool competitors though. The sock feels amazing. It wicks well and so far shows no signs of wearing out in the toes. I'll likely be buying more pairs of this sock.

Socks
These socks only lasted a few months before getting major holes. Was hopeful they would last longer.

Great for OCRs - proven on Batt Frog and Spartan Races
I purchased these socks after another pair which were horrible; I won't bash the vendor but if you look at my other reviews you'll find it (STAY AWAY FROM THEM). Needless to say these are a godsend! I have used them for trail run training, 2 Spartan Sprints, 1 Battle Frog 8 K and a Spartan Super. They are still holding strong and I am ordering two more pair not because of an issue but because they are that good!Anyone who does OCRs will definitely appreciate these socks; they dry quick and give just enough but not too much cushion to keep your feet dry and comfortable on long, muddy runs.

Good socks, for the right feet.
For reference, I'm a runner and triathlete and put a lot of miles on my feet throughout the year so I tend to go through a lot of socks.Ok, so I really do like these socks a lot, but they just don't work great for the way I run. I've learned over the years that I need a sock with more cushion in the toe and these just don't have it. What they do have is a great fit, good breath-ability and tons of compression. Super comfy to walk around in or run the occasional 5k, but anything more than that and my toes start to whine a bit.PRO:1. Compressive and comfortable.2. Good wicking ability3. Lightweight.4. Durable.CONS:1. Not much cushion for those who need it.

Swiftwick socks
My favorite low line socks to wear with my tennis shoes. NEVER do the socks get eaten by my shoes. Love these socks!
