Muelhens 4711 Eau De Cologne Splash for Unisex, 3.4 Ounce

My family has used this product for generations. We all use it. It's got a wonderful clean, light, fresh fragrance. It's the only underarm deodorant I've ever used. My brothers use it as an aftershave. I decant from the big 27 oz bottle into the little one for easier use.

Did not like that it was not a spray on bottle. The price was inexpensive. Nice classic fragrance.

the scent didn't even last 5 minutes don't waste your money, I used this a long time ago but it seemed better then and it isn't returnable

Antique fresh citrus scent

Regrettably poor, very poor. This is classified as a "cologne" while several reviews claim that it has at least a substantial or very strong sillage and openly a very extensive longevity. That alone is far from true, very far. It is common place that both longevity & sillage vary person to person but when your longevity reward is but for a meager five to ten minutes, sillage of the same strength level, well, what more actually needs to be said. Yes, initially 4711 holds a very nice citrusy fragrance but again, that is but available only to a nose that is within half an inch of the bottles neck - no further. I honestly was expecting at least a simple cologne that would run with the rest of the lower quality drug store pack. No, 4711 unfortunately can and should only be classified as a convenient drug store aftershave and left alone at that - nothing more. Even Captains Choice, Floid or Ogallala aftershaves scents last much, much longer than 4711. Many may prefer 4711 but still, it has been tried by me over and over, numerous days of applications and still there is nothing received but the same.
