This product line has completely transformed my hair! Once I hit 40 I noticed my hair was thinning quite a bit so when I saw this volumizing product at Walgreens I just figured “why not give it a try?” The price point is very reasonable plus it’s sulfate free and I’m allergic to sulfates. The scent was a little intense at first so I wasn’t sure how I felt about it until… my hair dried and it literally doubled the thickness of my ponytail! My hair looks and feels like it did when I was a teenager! Soft, thick, HEALTHY! I was hooked after the first use and I’ll never switch again!

LOVE CAKE PRODUCTS ~ their mousse and gel specifically are my FAVORITE! Wasn’t too stoked on their shampoo or leave in conditioner though. Both meh. Shampoo has good lather, and it is good value. But I didn’t think it provided a whole lot of moisture and left my hair kinda dry. I already have a lot of volume so wasn’t looking for that just wanted to try their shampoo since I love their other products so much. Probably won’t buy again. I have thick curly hair for a white girl ~ I straighten it in the colder months and let it air dry with Cake products (mousse & gel) in the warm months.

I bought the heavy cream body wash and I LOVE it. Best body wash ever. Smells incredible. So non drying. Just the best. So it made me explore other cake products. I have very fine hair and thanks to anemia not much of it. It’s weighed down easily and I’m always getting volumizing hair products. Too much conditioning weighs me down. Okay first we’ll start with the bad. This smells awful. I have no idea where people get Carrot cake from. This shampoo like many other cake products smells like plastic or burnt plastic to me. Idk what it is. It has a sweet sugary smell then boom. Plastic. The hand cream smells the same to me. It’s not cake. It’s a sweet chemical smell. But I used it anyways. Try it. Brushing wet with a detangler brush it was a bit harder than usual ro comb through. This is def a light conditioner which I expected for volumizing and most volumizing shampoos will do this to my hair. Wasnd horrible. Just harder than usual. And once my hair dried it was in perfect shape. Shiny. My waves were nice and frizz free. I really love how this made my hair look. Bouncy. Nor heavy. It worked well for my hair. Luckily the smell didn’t stay in my hair. Just a very very faint sweet smell. I’m torn. Because the smell is that bad to me. Idk if I will buy it again, but it does make my hair look and feel great. Wish they would change thier smells.

I got the shampoo first, and while I liked it, didn't think anything special about it. Then I ordered the conditioner. The two of them together are a HUGE WOW! It's made a huge difference in my hair. Hair is very baby fine, I have enough of it, but certainly not a lot. Was very surprised when I used this morning. Put some conditioner on and did not do as much of a rinse as I would typically, as it says on the bottle, and wow, this really is it. Super super terrific stuff. My hair has so much body and fullness I LOVE THEM TOGETHER! THIS IS IT!

This is probably the best-smelling shampoo I have ever used! And that's it. It leaves my hair a greasy mess. Will never purchase again.

I've been using christophe robin cleansing purifying scrub with sea salt for a couple years now because I have fine thin hair and I need a strong product to avoid grease build up and flatness every day. It was starting to lead to hair loss because I don't use conditioner and it leave hair a bit rough to comb through. I didn't think I'd be able to find a better replacement, but came across this product on a reddit thread. I've been really happy with it. I use a scalp massager after applying and that thoroughly distributes the product and lifts the hair. I'm surprised I've never heard or seen this product before as I have tried tons of high end salon products for my hair dilemma and this appears to be better than the ones I've tried.

Absolutely everything you want this to be! Smells like a birthday cake, beautiful body for your hair, helps your color stay longer & my hair feels healthier! Def recommend it ~ exactly as advertised!!

This thickening shampoo smells amazing, like something sweet and yummy. It lathers up really well, too, which is sometimes hard to find in a natural product. I was worried it might not be sudsy enough, but I was wrong. My hair feels a little thicker after using it. Definitely recommend giving it a try if you're looking for a volumising natural shampoo.

LOVE LOVE CAKE HAIR PRODUCTS...but the pricing and availability of some of the hair products is not cool!!! Be careful about the pricing...you can SOMETIMES get the hair products cheaper at a local retail store....bricks n morter that is...but all in all YOU WILL LOVE CAKE PRODUCTS.. Their stuff rocks my world and hair Takes lifeless hair and makes it bounce and shine...
