Updated 09/02/2020: Disappointed to discover that Frontier increased the price considerably from less than 2 years earlier...I found that a bit much! I could understand 10%...but a 33% price increase seems excessive.Original Review: Large bag of nice fragrant non-irradiated USA sourced, USDA organically grown dried CHIVES!...I imagine this supply will last me well over a year...but I'm a one person household although I do use chives in most everything I prepare for that nice delicate oniony flavor they bring. I could not find organic dried chives in my local stores; wasn't thrilled with some of the non-organic brands grown in China where there is concern over wide-spread heavy metals contamination in their soils. The origin of these chives is the USA as stated on Frontiers website (but not on the bag); because they are not imported they are NOT irradiated like most imported herbs/spices/etc. The quality is very nice; they're actually nice little chive rings...not chopped up bits and pieces like some brands. I grew tired of wasting my fresh organic chives only to have them go bad within few days; these dried chives solves that issue for me. The chives come in a non-resealable foil-type bag, so you'll need to have a means of storage ready, such as large mason jars and plenty of them. Nutrient dense, chives contain many vitamins (esp. Vit K), minerals and flavonoid antioxidants, are high fiber and being in the allium family (onions/leaks/garlic) they may help reduce cholesterol levels....I list these nutrient facts as I'm always searching/studying the health benefits of foods/herbs etc. Ordered with Prime they delivered within 2 days. Best by date was 31 months out (Oct 2018 - May 2021) so good shelf life. Store in a dark, cool, dry, air-tight container (like dark brown mason jars) to preserve nutrients and flavor. Happy with my original purchase! Not thrilled by the price increase but I won't have to replenish for a good long time even using them daily! I can definitely recommend these dried organic chives USA grown!

Absolutely the MOST fresh dried herbs I've ever purchased, anywhere. These smell so lovely, and they add definite flavor to each dish we've tried. I was a little concerned about being able to use a huge bag of dried chives, but no need for worry: We put them on "everything". (I store dried spices in BallMason jars, and these look gorgeous in half gallon sized jars--sitting out in our kitchen!) I have been so happy to sprinkle on chives, or mix them in to all egg, salad and meal dishes that I will need to reorder, and it hasn't even been 6 months since I first ordered. Very happy with this purchase.

The media could not be loaded.  Nice color had added to four large yellow potatoes than felt the texture of the bag had to throw out$5.00’s of organic yellow potatoes because of contamination of bugs so no I do not reccomend since im told its not returnable refundable stealing $30.11 plus $5.00 = $35.11 from me

HORRIBLE Poisonous Product from CHINA, Not ORGANIC as they claim.... HORRIBLE ~ I almost burned my INTESTINES last night with 1 handful of these dried Chives from Frontier, on top of my Organic Rice... YOU need to refund me ASAPI have no money for a falsified product, that is NOT ORGANIC, that is probably sprayed with many many chemicals, & that comes from CHINA ... not United States > as they claim.

These chives have a beautiful color and aroma. They have been a lovely addition to many dishes prepared in my kitchen. Thank you Frontier & Amazon for another great product.
