Lion Noisy 8-flavor Soda Hard Candy (Japanese Import) [JI-ICIC]

Update: After tasting all the flavors, I recommend these even more. My favorite is definitely the cola flavor, but my second is the lamune flavor. If you don't know what lamune is, either do I! I want to say it tastes like a hint of bubble gum. The rest of the flavors are pretty true to their natural flavors, but since it's all in Japanese, I don't know if they use natural or artificial flavors. I will say, though, as a lover of apple-flavored candy, the apple flavor is very pleasing. Something I've noticed as well is that these don't dye my tongue like other hard candies do, so I don't know what type of dye they use (if any.) Maybe they use natural coloring, but I'd really be surprised if they did.Original: I only had the chance to taste three flavors so far, but they're all delicious. They have a fizzy action to them when you pop one in your mouth, so it's fairly true to a soda that you'd buy at the store. The cola flavor tastes almost exactly like the cola gummies you'd find at the store, so that was a big plus. I ordered these from Japan and they took about a month to arrive, but for the price of free shipping and less that 4 bucks a bag, I'd certainly buy these again. Perhaps the next time I get these I'll purchase more than one bag to compensate for the international shipping. I'll update this review after I taste all the flavors.Although, I highly recommend trying these. I believe some are eligible for prime for an increased price, but if you want to save a few bucks go with the international sellers.

Okay first of all let me say I have been buying authentic Japanese candy for awhile. I know you could probably get this bag for 1.25 in an Asian market if you live near one. However, some like me do not have that luxury, so here we are.The bag is exactly as pictured, which to be honest I was worried about because there were no other pictures. The bag has A LOT more candy then I thought it would have, about 30-35 pieces it was bigger then I expected after getting other sampler Meiji chocolates. You will definitely get all 8 flavors in you bag, Lamune(classic ramune flavor), Strawberry, Grape, Lemon, Cola, Melon, Orange and Apple. Every flavor is powerful and strong. They are all unique and taste like there flavors, you can tell its not like some american candy where every flavor tastes the same, because its all sugar. They are individually wrapped which was awesome. Now remember these are your average Ramune soda candy based off of the soda, what turned me on initially was the packaging and how they looked like dum dum's (mini lollypop's) without the stick. The benefits of these ones in particular is there shape size and variety of flavors compared to other bags that only have 3 or 4.Overall I would say these are definitely worth the 8 bucks since they are hard candies and should last awhile, however they have this and similar products off Asianfoodgrocer.com for a third of the price. However someone like me who uses Amazon gift cards I can't find one for a random website like that. So here we are, and I know there are people like me out there. Its free shipping so that really is the main reason its worth it, and the quantity. Orange and Melon are my favorite one's so far that I have tried. Hope this helps someone make the choice I was hesitant to make.

These Japanese "fizzy" hard candies are really tasty. I almost regretted getting these because I usually enjoy the gummy candies better. Like Hi-Chew for an example. These arrived today, and I just opened them up without delay. The flavor is wonderful. The "fizzines" is more foamy feeling than fizzy. These don't foam in your mouth, they just feel that way while you suck on them. Surprisingly, ALL of these flavors are great--even the Cola flavor one! Needless to say, the Cola flavor is the one I expected to not like, but I was wrong. Orange is actually the one I like the least (not a fan of Orange flavored candy. Orange JUICE though, hehe.), and Grape is definitely the one I like the most.To round up this review: If you are considering buying this Japanese candy, do it. The flavors are fantastic, the "foaminess" is good and they're satisfying! Two thumbs up! 👍👍

I love Japanese candies, so my mother bought this for me as a stocking stuffer for Christmas. It took a long time to get here and I only JUST not got it in the mail, but I don't mind. For the price and free shipping it's a pretty decent sized bag. Forget all that though, the candy itself is the most delicious thing I've EVER tasted. It has a little bit of a carbonated taste to it, not much, but just enough for your tongue to feel tingly while sucking on the candy. I'm very excited about this bag! I know for sure when I run out, I'll be buying more! Delivery was so adorable too, as they added a little thank you note and a piece of authentic Japanese origami paper which I thought was the sweetest thing to add in addition to the candy =)

I originally gave this product 2 stars, that was because it had taken over a month and a half to arrive. Now that I've recieved the candy, I would wait another two months to get some more! It's a really good and cool treat. There are 32 pieces, 4 of each flavor. Be careful though, the candy does have rough coating and it can cut the roof of your mouth. If that's somethimg you're worried about you could always use these to flavor your water. After I rated this 2 stars the seller sent me a very nice email wondering if there was anything they could do to improve their shipping. I will definitely be buying from them again.

One of the best japanese soda candies I've ever had!!first had these during my trip in Huston, Tx and I happen to get me a bag of these at a store thereafter trying these out for the first time I had to get more and buy another pack of these![ PROs ]8 different flavors, nice bold packaging, individually wrapped, lasts for quite a while, the flavors are nice![ CONs ]Takes a while to ship, It's a little expensive

Got two of these (apple and grape) in a degashi box, and went on a mission to find them. Amazon to the rescue! My package came very flat, but had 40 candies, exactly five of each of the 8 flavours. Tried the blue bottle drink flavour first, and can’t wait to try the rest. Like fizz candies, but with the fizz mixed through the whole candy. So good!Update: have ordered a second bag… went through the first bag a bit quickly. Not a bad flavour in the bunch, and normally I would give the lemon candies away, but not these!

Delicious sweets I really recommend them

I was surprised at how good these taste. The fizz is different from the fizzy candies you can get in Canada, because they fizz slowly the entire time they’re in your mouth, rather than releasing a big burst of fizz at the end.

Just as some party glamore, and recalls of our childhood memories! They consist of several fruit flavors, every one bursts out like sparkling bubbles in the mouth. Love the nice prints, seal tight individually packed flavors. Cheaper to buy in Japan but that's on top of an air ticket!Would buy again!
