Sturdy, stylish, and practical for artists
I bought this folder to store and carry my A3 watercolour paintings, and it’s been brilliant. The grey raw card gives it a clean, minimal look, but it’s also strong enough to protect delicate paper from bending or creasing. I really appreciate the elastic straps - they hold everything securely, even when I have multiple sheets inside. What I love most is the customisable surface; I added a little hand lettering and sketches to make it mine. It’s lightweight but doesn’t feel flimsy, so I can confidently take it out to without worrying. Perfect for artists, designers, or anyone who needs a reliable portfolio folder.

A Good Value Folder
I picked up this folder a few weeks ago, and after using it for a handful of projects, I’ve got a pretty clear sense of its strengths and its limits. The first thing that stood out is the build quality. The raw grey card looks simple but feels sturdier than I expected. It’s not flimsy at all, and the surface takes pencil and marker well if you want to customise it. The elastic straps are tight and reliable, and they don’t feel like they’re going to stretch out anytime soon. In terms of size, it comfortably fits A3 sheets with room to spare, which is ideal for keeping slightly larger pieces flat. I’ve been carrying it around to a few classes, and it’s held up well. That said, it’s not a fully rigid portfolio, so if you need something that can take heavy knocks or protect delicate work in rough conditions, this might fall a little short. For everyday transport and storage, though, it does the job. One thing I noticed is that the corners can scuff a bit if it’s shoved into a crowded bag, so it’s worth treating it with a bit of care. But overall, the feel is premium for the price. It’s lightweight, practical, and has that no-nonsense aesthetic. It isn’t indestructible, but for an affordable, good-looking folder that protects artwork without bulk, it’s a solid pick. I like sharing my experience in case it helps someone else, as I always find detailed reviews useful when I'm deciding.

cheap and cheerful
It is made of thick card, but it will help protect your works of art as a temporary and portable storage. It was cheap and it does the job, so it is reasonable value for the financial outlay.

Worth the kineyc
It’s a great folder

It is not big enough for A3+. Very poor value for two pieces of plain cardboard fastened together.
It isn’t as described in the headline, because A3+ paper does not fit. In the detailed description it does say only A3.

Poor quality
Poor quality. Not clairefontaine. No brand logo. This is literally two pieces of card taped together with gaffer taped corners! Mine arrived with a noticeable scrape on one side and it doesn’t even take an A3 sheet of paper! Pants!

A3+ should hold A3+ documents. It doesn't
It clearly states that this will hold A3+ documents. It is too small! It is just slightly bigger than A3. My fault for not reading dimensions, but it should not state it can hold A3+.

Not a Clairefontaine product
This is not a Clairefontaine branded product. It's just two generic pieces of recycled card bound together. It will do the job fine but if you're looking at this listing it's probably because you want something smart to store your documents in. This ain't it.
