Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  The key is to 1) Use double sided tape to play around with proper placement BEFORE securing with 3M tape 2) Secure the magnet first then figure out device placement 3) Place the device closer to the back of door panel. The further back it is the more out of the way it is. The closer it’s placed towards the inside the panel (near the feet) the more likely you or a passenger is likely to accidentally kick the device or the magnet getting in/out of the car 4) Get inside of the car to secure the device to the door that way u can see exactly when/where the light turns off. The light will turn off when device is near/top of the magnet. That’s when you know you’re in the right spot and that’s where you want to secure the device to the door. Then BOOM you’re done. Enjoy your new lights.

Projection is good! When door closes it turns off and when left open it has a timer to conserve battery and shuts off (resets when close, re-open door again). Recommend placing light first on door then figure out where magnet goes second. Magnet is strong and sticks to other magnet in package so one of mine broke in two but was still able to stick the 2 halves on the tape and it works fine. Bulky casing for batteries and light is a downside but is black and matches my interior so not as big of a deal as someone with another color door I suspect. The magnet is ugly by itself just sticking to the car so I give this 4 stars as a result. What I did was put black tape over it to blend with my car plastic and protect it from car wash workers - can barely notice it. I recommend makers consider doing a coating of the magnet or providing a tape/case to cover it up.

A wonderful and practical addition to the "eye candy" that is my Racing Yellow, 'C7' Corvette Convertible. Only wish it was not a 'C6' projected emblem. The 'C7' emblem was clearly illustrated in the ad. I chose to keep it anyway. My advise is to use only lithium batteries to power them so that they can stay working brightly for a significantly, longer time than when using standard or even alkaline cells.

Just received these this evening and they work perfectly. The LED FORD Logo IS Bright and clear. The only thing that I had to build up something so the magnet would be closer to the sensor that activates the light on/off function when you open and close the door. I think these might work better for a Car but I made it work for my 2011 F.150 SuperCab 4X4. I definitely recommend these LED car Logo Lights. 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So far.....

I bought this item for my 2008 chevy corvette. I attached it to the passenger door only since I alone drive it. Nice addition when I exit or enter the car at night. Really shines on the ground beautifully.

After you figure out where to place the magnet on your threshold and attach the top piece with fresh batteries, I recommend a dab of RTV on the piece that has your logo just sticking out of the black box. It just pulls out and slides back in. If you close the door a bit hard, the logo will fall out.
