DC Super Friends Little Golden Book Library (DC Super Friends): Superman; Batman; Green Lantern; Wonder Woman Hardcover – Picture Book, January 6, 2015

These are well designed in regards to how much text is on each page to control the pace of the pages turning. The colors are vibrant and the concepts are fairly easy for my three year old to follow, despite the words he doesn’t know yet. Golden Books set the standard for the ideal length, pace, and typically having excellent morals to their stories. Sometimes you might get a book that is kind of basic, but this particular DC set is not like that. These books describe adventuress; They are not merely character sketches as some of the Marvel Golden Books are. This set basically amounts to frames from a cartoon, slowed down to book speed. It works. Get these!

Excellent book. I enjoy that the villains are “bad guys” without being overly scary or gross. It’s just right for my 2 and 5 year old boys who enjoy super heros. Both the female and male bodies are not realistic but at least Wonder Woman looks strong instead of just totally sexy.

My 2 year old daughter has recently taken an interest in superheroes. Initially, I bought the Batman! book, but our cat got sick right on top of it... Because he's apparently a jerk.When I checked on Amazon to replace it, I saw that this set included 5 books and that per book, it ended up being a great deal! So far, she loves the books! The text is interesting enough, and gives a nice basic "background." The pictures are cute and interesting, and she enjoys "reading" it on her own, and asking questions about what is happening in the different drawings.

Great set of books for young kids who are interested in superheroes. I docked one star because the set is Batman- and Superman-heavy. The Flash could have been more developed, and Batgirl and Wonder Woman only really appear in one book. Still, it is a good deal for the price.

Nicely illustrated. Fun story lines for bedtime. A must-have for any toddler growing up to become a DC comic fan.

My 15 month old daughter loves these books! Cute stories very colorful! Perfect for our comic nerd in training! ❤

These don’t have much of a plot (for little ones used to actual comic books), but are quickly becoming a favorite of my four year old. I’ll call it a win.
