1st things first. This product did not fit my door - it was about 6 inches too short. And I have casement Windows which crank out so I was forced to get innovative (with the help of my daughter) and it worked out WAY better than using my sliding door!The installation was easy - just clean the surface, apply the adhesive Velcro strip, and press the door seal to the the Velcro. So far … this is a great solution for alternative windows / doors.

Not recommend!1. The width is a title bit shy, could you just add a little tiny tiny width? What are you saving for?2. the magnetic strip doesn’t stay together, which defeats the whole purpose.3. Delivery arrived 3 days later than the expected date.

It’s good if you have a light hassle free AC. I have a 12k BTU unit and The hose is slightly heavier so it drags it down on the side a bit. Also due to the slightly windy nature of where I live in Central California It looks like it’s starting to get blown down.

I purchased this because I didn't have a window that the portable AC I bought could vent out of, resulting in my needing to use the sliding glass door, which I never use anyway. I am only somewhat mechanically inclined, so I was a bit nervous about putting this together. I didn't find any instructions, which I wish they had supplied. I am happy to say that it was easy to install and seems to do it's job well. For those like me who are not great with this stuff:Figure out where you will apply the Velcro, clean the area, apply the Velcro, attach the cloth, insert the AC's venting in the zippered area and get cool. It was easy to install. This may not have been needed, but maybe it helped someone like me.
