SuperTooth Disco Twin Bluetooth Stereo Speaker for Smartphones - Retail Packaging - Black

I wanted to upgrade my Bluetooth speaker and found this 2.0 dual Bluetooth speaker system. There aren't many other 2.0 Bluetooth speakers on the market currently, so I was really glad to find this product.SuperTooth has a reputation for making good speaker products so I gave this Disco Twin speakers a shot.Here are the PROS:Loud and crisp sound quality. (These speaker definitely pack some power)Good Bluetooth connectivity. (No wires except for the AC wires for charging)Good battery life. (5-10 hours per charge depending on the volume)Easy set-up. (Left & right speakers automatically pair-up with each other so you just have to connect your device to the master [left] speaker)Design & control button layout. (Sleek looking & illuminated volume and other control buttons on the top)Here is one CON:There is a very SMALL audio delay from the device to the speakers when playing video files. I'm talking less than a second (milliseconds).So, when I'm watching a movie I have to adjust the audio sync (in the player app) about -0.3 seconds for the audio to exactly match the picture. Most of video player apps have this audio sync option, so this isn't a big issue. If you're just playing audio or listening to music, this is not an issue at all.I ended up returning mine because of static noises and sound skips that would happen every minute or so. Apparently, this is a common issue for multi-speaker bluetooth systems. I'm just staying away from wireless multi-speaker set up for now until bluetooth alleviates this problem.

These are very good speakers. I had a few issues with the master speaker. The light on the back stayed red and wouldn't boot on. Later the light turned green and the speaker came on. It seems to be a short. Going to keep watching it. Its too late to return to amazon so I'm praying is will be okay now. Other than that they are great.I also have the one before with just the one speaker. This one is much better with right and left speaker and they talk and let you know they are on and off. Easy to take with wherever you go. Not bad for the price.

I've tried many single-unit speakers, and while some of them sound better than others, none of them can produce convincing stereo separation. After only a short time listening, I can't say much about the overall sound from my brief audition, but the stereo separation is impressive. They're not happy working with an IOS machine connected to more than one BT device at once, but they work fine otherwise. The auto-pairing is sweet, and the stereo aspect is close to unique (the Nokia Play 360 can do this, but you have to pair the speakers every time you use them, and AFAIK they have only one upward-firing driver compared to two drivers in each of these.

Been in contact with company and their rep here and have just given up. The main speaker connects to the slave speaker but then shortly after starts dropping out music and producing lots of static. They replaced it once but same problem. I know it's not my computer because I have other bluetooth stuff connected without problem. The main speaker works great on its own as a bluetooth but hook the second one up and the problems soon appear. A good idea but poorly done as in my case.

Searched forever for Bluetooth speakers. Tried Bose - not impressed for the cost. Got these instead as a gift for the husband. He loves them! Says the Bluetooth works really well, sound is great, He has used them outside in the yard, on the deck, porch etc all summer. We really agree that these are indeed the best quality and value for the price point and actually like them better than the Bose we originally purchased. They pair flawlessly every time!

However, the bluetooth connection occasionally cuts out as distance increases (beyond 15 feet). My wife's phone drops the Supertooth connection in favor of her iHome which is annoying.

Die too quickly

This doesn't work well at all. It keeps losing the Blue​tooth signal and the right speaker crackles. I'm not sure if there is something wrong with them or they just aren't as good as I had hoped. The sound is great, when they are working. But unfortunately, they don't work consistently.

This is the third time I've purchased Bluetooth speakers and these are by far the best yet. Obviously, you don't get the superb sound that you might get from an expensive Hi-Fi type of rig with four cubic feet speakers, etc., but I think you'll be well pleased. The set-up went perfectly on the second try and the sound is much fuller than I've had from the smaller varieties. In an average sized English living room maximum sound volume is far too much. At a volume I would describe as loud they give a good reproduction throughout the full tonal range. All my favourite music comes over well and I am, at last, well pleased.

Not satisfied. I am considering returning the system. The right speaker is going on and off. Never now when it will perform properly. Very anoying. I took it to my soccer team practice the other day to show off. I was very disapointed as the right speaker worked on and off. My friends as well. I will continue to use for one more week and take a decision to return or not.
