MacBook Pro 15 (2019/2018/2017/2016), JGOO Soft Touch Shell Cover(Fabric), Hard Shell Case Compatible MacBook Pro 15" A1707/A1993

I never post reviews, but I have to because this case blew my mind. When I first got it, I thought it was awesome. Look, feel and style. Now a couple months later I had a huge “oops” and this case saved my computer. In my haste, I had set my MacBook Pro on top of my car. Yes, you see where this is going. Five minutes later driving down the road at 60mph, I remembered it was there as I saw it lift into the air in my rear view mirror. I was devastated and I was sure I was going to find it in pieces. BUT I DID NOT! The computer was fully in tact, everything works, not a scratch on the body. The only thing damaged on my MacBook Pro was the metal part below my screen was cracked but it did launch into the gravel median at 60mph. I’m convinced this case saved me from replacing the entire $2,000+ computer. It could’ve been so much worse. Completely amazed.

[1 month] Seams have started to come off after one month of use. Also cloth on the corners has started to wear off.Edit[2 month usage] Rubber pads at the bottom have come off. Threads are coming off on the fabric at multiple places.

I love this case! I’m not one who wants to show off to the world that I’ve got an expensive laptop, so I love that this hides the logo. Also it’s just pretty, and I haven’t had any problems with quality. I’m super glad I bought this case, and I would recommend it to anyone!

This case was probably the best one that I’ve ordered in a while, until a few weeks after it arrived... The case has a great visual design but there are flaws with the durability of the product. Only a few weeks after recovering the product the rubber lining on the case started to detach from the plastic. At first it was only on one side, but soon after that It started to fall off on the other notch. I eventually had to pull it off because every time I moved my arm it would pull on the rubber. I really hope that my case was the only one with this problem because it would get a 5 stars if it wasn’t for this issue.

I love the look of this case, but durability is not good. This is my 2nd case(replacement) because the first one did the same thing. I have super glued different parts that have come apart in an attempt to keep it from falling apart. I never write reviews but I felt I needed to about this case. Again I love the look, but this case will not hold up after a few months of use.

I would have given this product 5-stars in the first two weeks because it looks fantastic. However, the rubber ribbing that goes around the lip, which is put on sloppily, peels off. Soon the fabric frays and less than a month later I am tossing it out.

The cover is good to touch and feel. The touch feels like fabric which is the good part.However, the part where the fabric meets the mac body started to disintegrate and is now very rough making it very difficult to use the mac with the case on.Minor pet peev : the keyboard case doesnt fully fit and as seen in the picture has a small rise on the command key at rest which looks bad.

I wanted to replace my old plastic cover and this was what I found! It came to me the NEXT DAY, was EASY to install! I think it looks GREAT on my MacBook Pro and it is protecting the investment that I've made. It also came with a keyboard cover. I'm not looking to use it right now, but I will use another time. It DOES look good with the case. I'm a pleased customer!
