Dog Grooming Hammock/Relaxation Restraint (Medium, Purple)

My papillon is an easy groom, bathing, combing, brushing, even blow drying he is relaxed and calm. But he sees nail clippers regardless of type he will tuck his little feet up tight to body. He is like a contortionist in his ability to hide those feet. Never a growl or bite, just very good at passive resistance. Well, this hammock is WONDERFUL. I put him in it and all he can do is hang there in the sling and nail cutting which used to take a half hour and 2 people. Is now under 10 minutes and one person. Best thing ever. I highly recommend it to anyone with a dog who is difficult to trim nails.

We've never been able to cut our dog's nails because he wound freak out when we touched his paws. We would wait weeks at a time before cutting his nails because it was such a painful process for all involved. When we did get them cut, we always relied on professional groomers. The last couple of times he scratched them so hard they bleed while holding him down. While in this hammock, we were able to cut and file all his nails in ten minutes without professional help. Highly recommended.

I debated buying this for like 6 months or more. It was a lot of money and I wasn’t sure I could cut my boys nails in it because they aren’t even good for the groomers. This gadget work’s fantastically. It paid for itself in 3-4 trims rather then taking them to the groomers. I recommend treating with a reward for good behavior during the trims.

This has made grooming our Scottish terrier dog so much easier. Before we had to muzzle her and it was still terribly difficult to get her nails and paws trimmed. She still tries to wiggle and nip when doing her front paws, but it’s so much safer with the hammock for her and for us. I would definitely recommend the hammock! We used size medium and it fits our scotty well and then hung from a clothing rack with hooks.

I have tried other grooming slings and DIY options. This is by far the easiest and most convenient. My little dog doesn't struggle against it, which allows my to trim her nails in 15 minutes by myself. Her last trip to the groomer, it took 3 people holding her down, which stressed her (and me!) out terribly. This way, she hangs comfortably, eats some treats, and gets a quick pedi. If your dog is still struggling against this, try counter-conditioning/desensitization before you give up. Totally worth it for the dog's comfort and nail health.

I just received the order and it came quicker than the estimated delivery date. This item was shipped from China.I have not used it yet. I had a homemade version of an old shopping tote with holes which was fine until one of the dogs gained weight. Now I needed something sturdier. The homemade version worked well when I had to trim nails. None of the 3 dogs want me to do anything with their feet. In a sling or hammock, they were OK with nail trimming. Maybe a little overpriced but I probably could not make it myself any cheaper because of buying all the materials.

This has been a great addition to my grooming salon! I would say it is slightly larger that I expected, but I have been able to use it just fine! All the dog I have used it with seem very comfortable. I wonder what took me so long to get it!

As a solo groomer, this harness is amazing. Most dogs totally relax in it. (Except the bipolar ones..lol) I am ordering my second medium size. I use it on almost every medium dog. (About a year and a half). Well worth the money.

This is a fab addition to my groom room . Amazing help to enable me to cut nails / feet and legs for those doggies who are not keen! Don’t know how I managed without it!
