Works great
Ordered 2, I screwed up the first on. Works exactly as expected and will make my kayak move.

Potentiometers go from 3.5k to 6.5k
I bought this almost a year ago (apparently) for building a bunch of control boxes, and bought a bunch from another company. This one ended up being the one that I didn't get around to using until a couple of weeks ago. I wired it into the circuit identically to the four other similar joysticks, and wondered why the heck this one box wasn't working correctly. After cutting it back out of the circuit, I found that the potentiometers measure 10k across them, like they're supposed to, but all three pots fail to come anywhere close to a complete short when brought all the way to either side. The result is that pushing the joystick all the way in one direction or twisting the stick all the way causes the camera to pan, tilt, or zoom at its slowest speed. And lest you blame poor soldering/overheating, it's important to note that I'm seeing the same behavior on the Z-axis pot, which has eight-inch wires attached. There's no way that this product is not just plain fundamentally defective, probably by design.Unfortunately, the return window closed nine months ago, so I can't realistically get a refund, and now I'm having to make an emergency purchase of a similar product from another company for almost twice as much money to get it in time for a video shoot. Needless to say, I'm not happy. This is *not* normal. I could understand one bad pot, MAYBE, but THREE?

Warning about the difference between 220 & 50 degree pots
Something important to note is there are many different types available and all look the same. These have 220 degree pots and only move 30 degrees in either direction. So don't expect full 0 to 5v output. If you want more output you need to buy the 50 degree version.

Ship's from China
On the very slow boat, 30 days. After the very long wait I see that the rubber gasket is installed upside down. The gasket cannot be removed without complete disassemble of the lower part. Other than that it is well made and customer service responded quickly to my question of where is it.
