Fits well, good material, and lovely shirt overall

Well made. L fits true to size (5 ft.10, 178 lbs.). Small taper cut to the shirt. 100% cotton. Have not washed yet so not sure of shrinkage. Other reviews mention no shrinkage. Plan on hang drying. Nice to have a Hawaiian pattern in cotton and not hot for summer polyester. Red/Blue.

Lightweight Everyday Shirt With a Few Tradeoffs This Amazon Essentials poplin shirt has the kind of simplicity I appreciate in an everyday piece. The fabric is light and breathable, making it a good choice for warm weather or for layering under a jacket without feeling bulky. The fit in the body is regular and comfortable, not too tight or too boxy, and the short sleeves sit at a natural length. The material also feels soft right out of the package, and the color (blue/grey) is versatile enough to pair with jeans, chinos, or shorts. That said, there are a few things to keep in mind. The fabric wrinkles fairly easily, so if you prefer a crisp look, you’ll need to iron it or use a steamer. Also, the sizing runs a little inconsistent—mine fit fine in the torso but was snug in the shoulders. It’s not a dealbreaker, but if you’re broad-shouldered, you may want to size up. The buttons are functional but on the thinner side compared to higher-end shirts. Bottom line: A lightweight, affordable shirt that works well for casual or semi-casual wear. Just be prepared to deal with wrinkles and check the sizing if you’re in between fits.

The cotton fabric is just right. Substantial but soft. The stitching and construction are impressively good a this price point. The fabric print is aligned and matched among the various panels--like where the sleeve meets the body of the shirt, and where the patch pocket attached to the main body part. I did not expect to find those details on a shirt this inexpensive. Resists wrinkles pretty well. The fit is what I'd call "slightly tapered" from shoulder to waist, and not not a roomy traditional fit. If, like me, you want a roomier fit, I suggest you order the next size larger than your dress shirt size. Unfortunately, it is increasingly difficult to find shirts that have a true traditional fit. This shirt does not have that traditional fit. I think shirtmakers are trying to make a single, so-called "universal" or "regular" fit shirt model--not as fitted as a fitted cut, and not a full as a traditional cut. In that way, they think they do not have to offer multiple models in different fits. It's too bad, because I need to size up to get a roomer fit around the waist, which ends up being too roomy at the shoulders. On this shirt, the taper is moderate, so it is a tolerable compromise.

Decent shirt - light weight. The neck is small, so if you have a big neck and plan on using the top bottom - it’s impossible.

This amazon brand shirt runs a bit small. I normally wear an xl. I bought the xl first and send it back because it was too small, especially around the belly. Exchanged it for xxl. It fits perfectly. The material is nice and crispy.
