NFL Street 2 - PlayStation 2

Love this game so much use to play all the time. I ordered it recently and did jot receive it i think it was lost or stolen. It was not the seller's fault by any means. He or she got my order updated and sent out quick im hoping it shows up and its just a glitch with the tracking

This disc plays for a little then freezes.

In 2007, I was a kid that got so frustrated at the CPU's gameplay that I snapped the disc in half. It was the only game I ever broke on purpose. I picked it up 13 years later and I love this game, something I wasn't able to experience before. I'm in the process of recreating current NFL rosters on this game, as it's much better than the newer Madden's and will continue to be.

In a sense, I got what I expected- a arcade-style NFL-type game that was aimed at the younger, hip hop, street fanboy. In practice, the game proved to be flawed in many ways. It has style points, (I personally view it as "showoff" points) which are pretty much required to gain to progress through the game. Without using the "style" moves (hotspots, taunts, Wall jumps/jukes) you pretty much get wasted by the other team's gamebreakers (which are pretty much cheats the other team can use when their style points meters fill up). I discovered the recipe for success was simply to run the ball, hit the hotspots, and beat the other team to the gamebreaker 2, which, when used is a cutscene of a touchdown. The passing game is questionable, the turbo button is pretty much necessary and the position one has to hold the controller to even play the game caused my hands to cramp up. No kickoffs, punts, field goals, or time management in this game (first team to a certain score wins). You have a team up to 8 players, who play both offense and defense. At the end of the day, your Own the Street player imports to Madden 06 with some rather odd stats, (as expected) and unlike NCAA imported characters, receives almost no recognition over characters created from scratch (no fanpage artwork, stats, etc) only access to the special agent (available from start) that is the brother of the performance institute guy who has immediate access.I guess I expected a game that played more like Madden or NCAA Football so that it would meld more seamlessly with the other titles. However, it is fun and unlike the other 2 titles, I have not fallen asleep playing it.

Great game to play with 4 players or just one. You can do the same sweet moves and added new one like wall run. The only down side would be they change the impact tackles and how they look. But over all the stages are better and its sweet that there are less gaps to fall out of bounds.

$60 game and it won’t get past the intro nice.

One of my favorite games growing up and I have enjoy it just like back in 2004 . Glad to have it as part of my collection. Need to bring this back.

Works fine. Had A LOT of scratches but the game is over 10 years old. Shipped fast and came in the original case.
