Exactly as described, the material holds the pad in place, and the pad fits comfortably in the arch of the foot. I've been wearing it around the house barefoot for the last day and a half (since it arrived) and it provides exactly the support I needed when I'm not wearing shoes (which already have an arch support insole).I was concerned when it arrived, because there were some loose threads in the package, but they seem to have been extras that were trimmed and not completely cleared away. The material itself is in good condition, and the fact that the edges aren't hemmed means there's less irritation for the foot itself. The only stitched seams on the sole of the foot are around the support pad itself, and it does slide easily into shoes. Recommend that you take out the insole of whichever shoe you're using, if you use it with shoes.Highly recommended for everyday barefoot wear.

they work pretty well to provide arch relief and are thin enough otherwise not to be annoying...one problem that I have encountered...they are supposed to be machine washable but for some reason, they disappear in front loader washing machines even when other small socks don't...it might be the fabric or the asymmetrical weight but whatever it is, I have lost all three pairs that way...you should advise putting them in a mesh bag or something like that which can't get sucked into the washing machine during the spin

Not bulky, easily fits under sock in shoe. Gives light support which is perfect for me. I gave 4 stars for support because this does not give tight support but works for me.

My daughter is active but recently had mpfl surgery and has fallen arches. Her physical therapist recomended orthotics for her shoes and we did that. But my daughter also does barefoot activities; like hula and outrigger canoe. I searched and searched and these by far do the job May even order another pair!

The gel, though pressed snuggly against my foot, did not actually touch the ground and therefore did not cushion or provide support. Also, there was no compression. Basically, these are the sock equivalent of no-show panties. They're there, but they're not. So, they're basically useless and going back. Very disappointed.

These supports make a big differe ce when I wear them. It stops my foot from turning. It rests on gel pad and is very soothing.

Lo usé tres días y perdió "gelatinosidad" de uno de las almohadillas. No trae instructivos para saber en qué posición exacta colocar.
