Jacaru Kangaroo Leather Outback Hat - 1001Brn

This is a very floppy hat. You can crush, twist, sit on, ect and it will pop back to form. BUT it does not hold up to any weight. So if its raining hard the brim will bend down. I did not really like it. Not as sturdy of a frame as I would like. It is a good hat just not my style.

The hat came today. Upon opening it, it looked and smelled great!but the stitching on the inside of the rim is really irritating and there is no sweat guard.around the base and the very top of the hat are scrap or near puncture marks.the stitching from the inside rim to the outside braided straps makes the piece look poorly put together.the hat looks/is crushed.a form inside the box states there is a 15% restocking fee + $8 free shipping fee..

Exactly what I wanted

I purchased this hat from a shop in Boonah, Queensland in 2011 and it's been all over the world the last 8 years. It's been stuffed in a suitcase multiple times, sat on, been rained on, snowed on, sweated in, and had plenty of time in the sun. It's still a great hat that looks a little warn but in a good way, otherwise it still holds it's shape. The only maintenance I do is using a leather oil on it every couple of years. The oil has made it a bit darker than it was initially, but it's helped preserve that soft roo leather very well.Overall, I love the hat.**Note: Not purchased through AmazonPros:Soft leatherDurableLooks greatCons:None
