Tells it like it is
Tells it like it is. The book is very clear about the purpose of law school and those interested in applying should read it to have a clearer understanding of what you'll get out of the experience. Light read.

A highly readable and fascinating account of legal realism from one who believed that what the judiciary and the executive actually *did* about crimes and disputes constituted the law, rather than that the content of the law was deducible from legal rules. Well worth reading by any law student in a common law jurisdiction who is even mildly interested in jurisprudence.
