RND Apple Certified RIGHT ANGLE Cable for iPad iPhone iPod (3 feet/white)

I run this from my bicycles headlamp USB output up to my iPhone 4s in handle bar mount. The right angle allows the cable to drop in correct direction and helps finger hold on removal. Strain relief on cable could be better but is still working after a month of use.

I bought this cable for the 90deg connector to accommodate the cradle for my iPad, and that part is perfect. However, the USB connector that plugs into my Mac fits very loosely and I find that I'm constantly jiggling the cord to get the device to be recognized.

Pay attention, the initial picture might make you think this is a Lightning cable. It is a 30 pin NOT a lightning!

The images are very deceiving. This is NOT a lightning connector. It is the 30-pin connector for the older model iPhones iPads, etc. I ordered 2 of these, and after reading the other reviews (which I guess is my fault for not doing so in the first place), am not even going to attempt to return them. I searched for lightning connectors and it came up with this. I liked the idea of a right-angle connection, so I ordered them. Lesson learned.

Used in a situation where visual appearance was important. Cord is completely hidden except where it plugs into the bottom of my black iPad. An impressive product at a reasonable price.

Details were misleading, I was under the impression that I ordered the cord for my wife's iPhone 6+, that's what was pictured & what I read. When it arrived it was for the older model iPhones. I'm still able to use it on my old ipod so no complaints on it's functionality. I just really didn't need another older model cord.

I have had trouble with the traditional straight plugs when using my iPad while plugged in. It is always in a bent position when reading in portrait view which causes the wires to eventually lose connection over time.

Works like it should. Cable exits out the back of my iPad 2 so I can use it as a dedicated control console for Apple Music.
