The 7G dye is true to its name-medium golden blonde or "golden apricot" if you look at the color chart for Clairol Soy4Plex Liquicolor Permanente. There's nothing more frustrating than spending time and money dyeing your hair only to have it come out a different color than you wanted and damaged. However, this hair dye, when mixed with 20 volume developer, slightly lightened my dirty blonde/light brown hair to a warm medium blonde. It came out very golden but not orange like a lot of hair dyes do to my hair. My hair didn't seem damaged by this dye either. This creme dye is less damaging than the liquid hair dye, because it seems to contain conditioner and has much less of an ammonia smell. I've never been so pleased with the results of hair dye before, and I've had to experiment with many hair dyes! If you're on the fence, buy this one.

i used this for my split dye hair and it turned out really nice! but it did start to fade kind of fast which is disappointing..

I have used this product for at least 10 years. The product consistently performs and covers my stubborn gray hair. I touch up roots every 4-5 weeks and can get two touch-ups out of one tube. Such a bargain!!

First time buying this color or hair dye from Amazon. I don’t have any complaints with the color. It’s more of a reddish brown. I have more white hair then grays but the color lasted longer then I thought it would. Would definitely buy this brand again
