I normally wear size 7 but bought size 8. Perfect fit.
Love the shoes. Very comfortable. But buy 1 size up from the size you normally wear as recommended by the seller. I normally wear size 7 but bought size 8. Perfect fit. Light weight.

Although I have been sort happy with the shoes I already have (Bloch
I have been trying many brands of shoes for dance fitness / Zumba for several years. Although I have been sort happy with the shoes I already have (Bloch, Reebok, Nene's, etc), I really wanted to continue my search until I find a better fit for me. I recently bought this pair and I feel my search is over! My foot is narrow overall with very long toes (especially my middle toes are the longest, monkey toes!); I have very high and strong arch. I also wanted shoes with dance-friendly soles like Bloch and Nene's. My favorite Blochs do not have the ankle support, and my Nene's have too wide toe box. This Capezio Fierce Dance sneakers solved these. They are not wide in toe box and heel. They have good ankle support without being too bulky. They are very light. As most dance shoes companies, the sizing is small, so you need to order at least 1.5 sizes larger than your street shoes. My street shoe / sandal size is 7, my running shoe size is 8.5-9. My bloch dance sneakers are size 8.5, so I ordered Capezio 8.5 as well, and they are perfect.

Great shoes! Would buy again!
I wear a 10 to a 10.5 in most shoes and ordered the 11.5. They fit amazing! I'm very happy! I'll have to save up a bit for another pair sometime that are a bit less casual. I truly love the support in the arch. I don't suffer from any foot problems but I feel noticibly better in these shoes and now I can dance a lot longer! I'm very surprised at how comfortable and stable the support on the arch is since they actually have full range of flexibility in the middle. I'm very happy with the bottom of these shoes as well. I was used to some cheap shoes with suede which were great starting shoes. However these are a difference as night to day. The material at the bottom is now suede yet it is extremely effective. In fact I am much happier with my control now. Before I had trouble with quick stops or sudden changes but these provide a great balance of grip to the floor where you can spin and pivot in them without any issues yet you have tons of control on stops and quick movements. If you're unsure about buying a pair of dancing shoes and you're looking for your first pair, as long as you have the income I would even recommend these as your first pair. It will make movement much smoother and when you eventually do buy a pair, yo u won't have to unlearn bad habits that form on the dance floor when you don't have dance shoes.

Authentic Capezio shoes.

Money wasted.
Disappointed. These run small, buy 1/2 size bigger or your toes will be hammered. The toe box is narrow and low, my toes are squeezed and I can't use them properly to exert control. The tongue and the back of the ankle are padded so much as if they try to keep you warm in addition to giving support. Why????? This is a dance shoe, I need to feel my toes and use them and I do not need to keep warm and I do not want bulk around my ankle and arch. Money wasted. The Bloch sneaker is much better.

1st dance class - comfortable without breaking in!
I needed white dance sneakers for an upcoming event. I usually wear Sansha Skazz shoes (good quality but better pricing than Capezio and Bloch), and after much trial and error know my shoe size there, but they didn't have a shoe I wanted in white, so these Capezios were my choice. I know each brand is different, and that was my biggest worry - having time to find the right size and make sure they were comfortable before my all-day line dance event next month. I compiled sizing information from all the reviews for this Capezio sneaker. I wear an 8.5 street shoe, 9 athletic shoe, and most recommendations from others with similar sizing were for 9.5 or 10. I was leaning towards the 9.5, especially since my foot is narrow, and at the time I ordered the 10 was out of stock, so my choice was made, and fingers crossed! The 9.5 fit me PERFECTLY. I wear a thin sock for dance - I would say if you wear heavier socks and/or your feet are wider, the 10 would be your better choice. I wore them for a few hours just walking around the house after receiving them to make sure they didn't rub anywhere, and today I had my first full Soul Line Dance class in them, and they were SO comfortable. The pivot point is slightly off from my other shoes so that took a moment's getting used to, but I could spin, glide and turn with ease.

Great for
Capezios have been my dance shoe of choice for years. They improve your arch support and help me go on pointe.

I am not a "dancer", I take zumba classes and unlike my sneakers, these shoes allow me to move around the floor with ease, support, and comfort. I also find that I don't have calf issues because the soles are very flexible unlike runners. The sizes run small, I normally wear a size 6 -6 1/2 and I take a size 7 1/2 in this shoe.

Really lightweight. Nice fit. I'm normally a 5 but had to return for a size 6.
