500kg Flat Membrane Box Load Cell Sensor Instantaneous Impact Force Measurement φ58

Seems like a very sturdy load cell that shall serve my intended purpose quite well, but I shall need to do more work than I had originally thought for the project. The idea is to transform the brake pedal of my sim racing rig to feel much more like that of an actual race car. Right now it uses a spring and rubber bumper and feels very much unlike any brake pedal I'm familiar with. It feels very much like the other two pedals with slightly more resistance, but little feel for where the brakes actually start to have significant impact. I had just so happened to be investigating the matter when I happened across this little fella. And having some experience crafting my own solutions I grabbed it and only when it arrived did I look into the job before me. I had figured on having to craft the physical placement and luckily I found a tutorial written by someone with more knowledge then me on things electrical in nature. It seems that I shall need to build an amplifier circuit for this device to replace the current device. It seems straightforward enough once I gather up the needed parts, but I know well enough that it will most likely be a several-night venture at best and I didn't want to wait until completion to rate what seems like a fine component.If all goes well I will report my success to any folks who may want to tackle something like this themselves. And at $500 for the same set of pedals already outfitted with a load-cell in the brake pedal, I wouldn't blame you.
