Future of the Time Dragon: A Branches Book

Our niece loves this series!

My son loves these books so much! He is 7 yrs old and asks for them for bday/Christmas and even buys many with his saved up money when he can. He was slower to fall in love with reading, but these books were one of the first series he finally got really excited about reading. Perfect for a 1st grade reader with quick moving storyline, short chapters, and some pictures.

My son absolutely loves this series! He really struggled to be interested in reading & couldn't find a series he enjoyed until he came across this one at school. He literally couldn't put it down. It made me so happy to see him excited about reading, I bought him the extra ones he couldn't get the school library.

I like the time jokes and the imp, it made the clock go wild. It is a good book for kids, probably 5 years and up.

Our little boy started reading this book series and loves it. We have purchased the entire collection over time. He started reading it when he was 7 and had a little bit higher reading level than his grade level at the time.

(Review as narrated by my six-year-old son) I really like this book. Lukas is very funny. The jokes he tells--like "why'd the man throw a clock out the window? He wanted to see time fly!"--that one's pretty funny. That's why I like this book a lot.

Good addition to the series

To me I like fantasy books so before I started liking fantasy my teacher read this to my class and liked it a lot so I started to like fantasy

Die Dragon Masters-Bücher sind eine angenehme, relativ leicht zu lesende Fantasy-Reihe für Kinder im Alter von etwa 5 bis 9 Jahren. Das Englisch in den Büchern ist auch ziemlich einfach gehalten und daher auch für ältere Kinder geeignet, die Englisch lernen. In der Reihe stirbt niemand, und es wird auch niemand ernsthaft verletzt. Grundsätzlich gewinnen immer die guten, aber mir hat gefallen, dass die Welt in diesen Büchern nicht komplett schwarz-weiß dargestellt wird. König Roland ist moralisch ambivalent, und einer der Haupthelden folgt zeitweise einem abtrünnigen Zauberer. Obwohl viele der Handlungsstränge recht klassisch sind, regen einige Geschichten doch ein kleines bisschen dazu an, über richtig und falsch ein wenig differenzierter nachzudenken als in manch anderen Kinderbüchern.

Suitable for older kids, else it's a long read for parents.

We needed a good "first chapter" series with lots of pictures as for bedtime routine as picture books just became rather expensive. So I searched the internet and came across the recommendation for Scholastic's Dragon Masters book series. They LOVE all the characters/dragons in the books and love guessing what each person can do and what powers the dragons have. Whenever possible we use the Kindle edition and broadcast it to our TV via our Amazon Firebox (via wireless projection) so that everyone can see the text and the pictures. Unfortunately not all the books are available for Amazon Kindle, so some books we had to buy as hard paper and we are running out of space in our bookshelves as we have sooo many books, so we prefer electronic copies. Electronic copies also allow us to share it onto their Amazon Fire tablets for kids. Again, LOVED by all of our kids and we have different ages and grasp of the world. Unfortuantely we have read ALL the books available and now have to wait until March 2021 until the next book comes out.
