There are a lot of these kits around on the High Street and here on Amazon. This was the cheapest possible at the time. I wanted a fun project to build, paint and learn to play. Arrived in a plain box with no instructions at all, but all the necessary parts. No glue, but pre-prepared holes for the screws helped. The neck needed quite a bit of sanding, but smoothed out nicely. I checked out what areas were going to need glueing and then I painted it, before any assembly. I used nice bright acrylic paint and gave it a couple of coats. Then I glued and screwed it together and fitted the strings. There are lots of downloadable instructions on the web if you want some, and a great YouTube vid of a guy making one. Very helpful. I also bought myself a little clip-on tuner so I can get it sounding right. And guess what? It sounds great! Four stars since it didn't have glue or instructions. Recommended at less than a tenner.

Received product, intact and ready to assemble, instructions need improving, finished and painted, now playing tunes, value for money, not the best sound but a good beginners instrument.

This is a soprano ukulele, not a concert as advertised.Wood quality is not great and really needs to be painted to hide the jointed neck. Plastic fretboard and bridge.Predrilled Bridge holes in the body make it more difficult to assemble correctly.Should only be used as a kids toy and/or crafting project. Not really a instrument.
