The recommended dose is Less than 10kg (22lbs) bodyweight -1 daily. 10-20 kg - 2 daily 20-40kg - 3 daily. Over 40kg - 4 a day. This can normally be reduced further after an initial 4-6 week period on the supplement to a maintenance dose of ½ the starting dose. To get to this, the dose should be reduced every week by ½ tablet. If a dose reduction step causes regression in the improvement shown, the previous week’s dose should be re-instated. How long does it take to work? It is not a quick fix as it is designed to support the joint tissue, not reduce inflammation per se. Usually 4-6 weeks on full dosage is required before a difference is noticed, but this may occur earlier.
