The 700C Kent Gzr700 road bike is built around a tig welded high tensile steel frame and fork. Shimano stem Shifters and rear derailleur provide smooth reliable shifting across the 21 speed range. You can stop quickly with the alloy calipers and brake levers. High-profile alloy Vitesse 36 hole rims look as good as they perform. The Gzr700 is equipped with comfortable seat for extended rides. The maximum weight capacity for this bike is 250 pounds.

Deteriorated quickly
Purchased the bike approximately 60 days ago and have put about 100 miles on it. Already the barrings in the back hub are no longer rideable to the point of the back wheel wobbling when spinning. Yes I have tried to tighten the wheel and tension. Called Amazon and they only have a 30 day warranty and Kent will not place typical wear and tear items. Overall not happy with how quickly the bike has deteriorated and I would not reccomened.

great budget bike for commute or recreation
My first ride on this bike was Sept 2nd 2017, and at the time of writing this review I have logged around 106 miles on this bike via a Garmin watch. I'm around 5'9" and I love the fit of this bike. Upon arriving I was able to put the bike together pretty easily (first time doing so), but I still made sure to take it to a local shop to make sure it was assembled correctly. Both wheels needed truing, especially the front wheel which was visibly wobbly. However this is easily taken care of at a shop or by yourself if you have experience. Either way I'd highly recommend taking the bike to a shop if you aren't experienced. After some adjustment at the shop the bike rides and shifts smoothly. The brakes that come with it brake decently with some effort, but aren't the best. Also I have not had to air up the tires at all in two months. Overall I am happy with my purchase so far and believe this bike has been worth the money up to this point. If you are looking for a cheap, fun road bike to commute with or just want to hit the road on the weekend I'd highly recommend this bike. I will try to update this review in the future once I get more mileage on the bike.

Bent Spoke and Wobbly Front Wheel
Firstly, The front wheel was easy to install but would not sit straight no matter how many times I tried to install it, it always wobbled. The instructions tell you to simply try again if it is wobbling. Second, one of the spokes on the front wheel was slightly bent which is unacceptable. Third, this is cosmetic but on the front of the bike frame there was some discoloration in the paint that almost felt sticky. Lastly, the instructions fail to explain where the shifters are to be installed so I had to zoom in on the picture to understand the installation. I'm very disappointed with this bike. It gets a one star from me mainly because of the front wheel not aligning and the bent spoke and due to those reasons I did not ride it at all.

Good beginner bike, awkward shift lever positioning.
Coming from someone who has owned multiple mountain bikes since he was a kid, this bike is completely different.First off it take a lot of getting used to because your hands are even, if not below your seat. With this if you don't keep the correct posture I found my back start to get sore after awhile. After about a month of riding it however you do get used to the positioning and not even notice it. Just be ready to be sore for a little while! The one thing about this bike that I can not get used to is the shifting levers. For some reason the shift levers are attached to the center stem of your handle bars and at least 3-4 inches away from your hands when they are on top of the handle bars (and about 8 inches if you have your hands in the lower position). In order to shift gears you have to completely remove one hand from the bars to move the shift lever which for me is a circus act when getting to a sudden hill and trying to downshift while my legs are struggling to keep the bike moving. I will admit that it does get easier after riding for awhile and I know there are plenty of people with much better balance than me so don't think that you need to have the balance of an Olympic gymnast in order to ride this bike.Overall this is a nice bike and worth the money. It is a very light and sturdy bike and much easier to pedal than any mountain bike I have owned. The light weight allows much easier hills and control over the bike as well as easier storage and moving the bike around in the garage. If you want to get into this style of bike with a low budget I would recommend getting this bike. If you're a little more serious though and are going to ride this everyday to work then I would suggest spending the extra cash and upgrading.

Kent GZR700 Road Bike
My adult son ordered this bike for exercising his legs and knees for low impact after knee surgery. He enjoys the ride but tires seem to need added air more than expected. (Note review of Tonbux Replacement Bike Seat.) A larger seat for husky men should be made available.

Front wheel came damaged
Overall, I am disappointed with this purchase seeing as the front wheel of this bike came messed up. It wobbles way too much when I put it on, and after hours of taking it off and readjusting it just didnt stop wobbling. The bike overall is great though. The frame came in perfect condition along with all the other parts. Assembly for the seat and handlebars was easy. The only problem was that front wheel that I had to take to my local bike shop for a wheel truing. Which were additional costs.

Wonderful
My fiancée loves her bike! It arrived fast, and was free of shipping damage. It was relatively easy to assemble once I had the correct tools, and is good quality for such a low price. From a more technical point of view, the bike is a little on the heavy side considering its only medium sized. The dual set of brakes is a hit for my fiancèe who doesn't like to always be reaching for the drop brakes. The shift levers are a bit far back, but considering the brake set-up, it makes sense. For the price, this bike is a great buy, and even though it's not a top of the line road bike, it is more than enough to get you outside and enjoying cycling.

Budget Bike, Budget Parts
The Radius brand brake calipers are kinda bad. It fails to stop the bike effectively. The seat it came with hurts my butt. There have been complaints about the wheel but the one I got is completely fine. I could easily get some entry level Shimano brakes for the front and rear for $45, and probably get a better seat for another $25, but that would be an extra $70. Might as well invest in a better quality road bike, some Giants go for <= $500, that will last you a longer time and will give you a better ride quality. Same goes with anything you purchase that you plan on using for a while.
