Vibe-Tribe Troll 2.0: 10W Compact Bluetooth Vibration Speaker Magenta

I decided to take a chance on an un-reviewed electronic product because I was feeling extravagant and was, besides, looking for magenta accent pieces for a newly decorated room. This little speaker is AWESOME! For one thing, it's just really attractive. It's small and surprisingly heavy--very solid-feeling. No cords (except to charge), one button, two little lights--it's elegance itself. It paired easily and instantly and works without any kind of complexity or difficulty.Now let me tell you about my use-case, because I'm probably not typical. I listen almost exclusively to podcasts, audiobooks and other spoken-word material. I use an Android phone and Google Play Music for my paltry music collection. I live in a very small house, which I like to be able to wander around while listening (and sometimes earphones are just annoying, you know?). I'm absolutely NOT an audiophile: I just want reasonably clarity, volume, and ease of use.The instructions with the Vibe-Tribe Troll point out that the surface you put it on affects the tone quality, and that is REALLY true. A glass surface is lovely and pure, a hollow wooden cabinet is boomy; the kitchen counters are okay, but if there's anything lying on them to vibrate, it will vibrate and buzz a little. Top of fridge: probably avoid. Stainless steel table top: pretty nice, but have you noticed how stainless steel table tops interfere with Bluetooth signals? No? Just me then.A minute ago I cranked up AC/DC's "Back in Black" on an IKEA Besta cabinet and it rocked without distortion.Now I'm listening to a mezzo-soprano, and the high notes are also coming through nicely.Now some highly-produced studio music by Adam Lambert: thumping bass, clear lead vocals, but some distortion in the crescendos (seriously--don't judge this thing till you've removed distorting objects from the playing surface--Adam got clearer when I turned him down just a hair and took my phone off the table), but, alas, quite a bit of loss of background vocals that I know are crystal clear in good earphones.Now for some acapella folksy-bluesy James Taylor ("Are you over 50?" you ask. Funny you should ask.) Choral blend: rich, good. Piano comes in clearly and sweetly. Balance good. Lots of detail in the soundscape that was missing from the zillion-track studio number.Beethoven's 7th, Allegro: Let's be real: you're not going to listen to serious classical music for serious reasons on an Android phone and a portable speaker, no matter how awesome the portable speaker is. A piece like this, familiar and beloved, is stirring no matter what, but I'd think twice before trying to approach, say, a Serialist piece for the first time on the Troll.Very uppity British Actor-Voice reading a novel: I'm perfectly happy with it.So: for me a complete win, well worth the price, extremely cool to use and look at, amazing large, clear sound--it's like magic. I love it.

So cool, connect via Bluetooth or directly and set it on top if the car or other surface, the sound is amazing.

Volume is not as loud as I would like. Depending on surface the vibrations alters sound. Overall good product.

The product worked first time right out of the box. I paired it with my iPad and in less than 30 seconds it was up and running. I did some different surface tests and it was amazing. My dining room table works the best. All my friends love the sound. Highly recommend this product

Ottimo prodotto suona perfettamente app Girandolo su qualsiasi superficie , nel mio caso però avendo la necessità di utilizzarlo su una vetrina ho dovuto rimuovere la gomma e con un potente biadesivo incollato alla vetrata offrendo così un suono perfetto con una buona diffusione, potenza non esagerata adeguata alle mie esigenze.

Kleines heißes Teil, was toll aussieht und sich auf entsprechendem Untergrund gigantisch anhört. Dieser Hinweis könnte noch irgendwo vor dem kauf stehen, oder aber ich hab's überlesen, denn das wusste ich vorher nicht.Trotzdem bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Kauf!
