Yes you can. I just tried it so I could answer your question! Great thrower!!! Whether throwing singles or doubles this thrower launches the clays with ease

It will throw one but not far or correctly, it wobbles. I would get the single thrower and stack the 90mm targets over the 60mm targets for doubles, if I had it to do over again.

Q: Thrower will not release clay target. The rubber pieces do not move freely. Do I need to exchange thrower?

It takes quite a bit of effort to throw these double throwers and they don’t go very far. It might be the technique or you aren’t throwing it hard enough. If i had it to do over again I would by the single thrower and stack the 90 mm over the 60mm targets for doubles. This double thrower disappointed me.
