Bread Slicer for Homemade Bread, Foldable Adjustable Slicing Width with Cutting Board, Cutting Bagels or Even Slices of Bread Becomes Easy.

I make homemade bread two to three times a week and wanted a bread slicer that would fit my loaves. After comparing products I chose the PURENJOY bamboo slicer. PRO: multiple slots to pick and choose slice size, easy to assemble and easy to store cleanly is easy soap and water. CON: it’s long so finding spot could be a challenge we just fold up and slip it behind toaster. All in all we have found the slicer to be a very useful tool for slicing bread

This product works as shown. Unfortunately, I don't think they design is great for the application. The bread knife needs to be pretty long and the wood gets cut when you slice the bread all the way down. I feel it is just as easy to free hand the bread cutting.

I've recently started baking bread and this is perfect for cutting even slices. It's very easy to put together and take apart. I love that it has a separate tray for catching all of the crumbs. I had to order a longer bread knife so it will stay in the slots while cutting. Overall, I love it.

The bread slicer looks aesthetic and is pretty sturdy but doesn't work very well for breads with a softer crust (i.e., Tangzhong or Japanese style toasts). Even with a sharp forged knife, it was difficult to keep the bread aligned with the slicer because the slicer itself is so wide and leaves a gap. One thing I didn't like was that there were a lot of tiny wood splinters. They were fairly difficult to clean because much of it were in between the prongs. The board they gave to align one side of the bread helped, but there was no way to shrink the width of the slicer to fit a smaller bread. Additionally, the gap in between each slice is too large so you would have to carefully keep pressure on the knife to keep it flush with each prong which makes cutting even slices all the more difficult if you're working with breads that have a soft crust. Overall, this does the job but could be improved.

We make our own bread, so we always have to be slicing. This unit does exactly what we were hoping. It slices evenly - with a variety of choices for thickness. It looks attractive on the counter. We are very pleased with the operation, the quality, the price, the ease of use and even the packaging.

I make a lot of homemade bread in my bread machine. I was looking for a slicing guide so the slices would be even and straight. I thought this would fit the bill. Unfortunately, the quality control was horrible. Each cutting guide is spring loaded, and is supposed to go into a notch (see picture) when you flip it up, locking it in place. However, the "bread shelf" was misaligned, and covered one of the notches. The result was that one of the cutting guides could not be locked into place. It was impossible to even flip it up into a vertical position since the misaligned bread shelf is in the way. The device is unusable. I decided to try again and hope for the best. Amazon was gracious enough to send out a replacement immediately. Hopefully, the replacement will be OK.

Easy to assemble. Easy to clean. Could be a higher quality material, but has held up well. Makes PERFECT sandwich slices with 2 size options. Stores flat. Very light weight.

This is a great product to buy if you want to slice your bread, but don’t have room for a huge, automatic deli slicer. I bought this to evenly cut my sourdough loaves I bake at home and it’s been a huge help. The best part is, it collapses down to lay flat for storage. Can be a little tricky to break down so don’t throw away the user manual.

Great product. Holds my bread steady while I slice nice even slices. People complaining about the wood showing cuts from knives being dragged across it don't understand how wood works.... Use plastic I guess? I don't know if you're supposed to, but I put the flat part of the bread loaf against the stabilizer and cut from closest to the stabilizer away and it worked like a charm.

nice unit. The knife slices it easily so it will only last a short while- the bamboo seems soft. Folds easily for storage; maybe a little too easily. Overall its a good little helper for the money. I'm not sure wy they asked me about freshness?

Prefect for helping with slicing of bread. My husband would always cut a perfect slice before (loaf always ended up being a wedge) with this slicer, no more wedges and waste of bread. Every slice gets used.

I bought this to help make slicing my homemade bread loafs quicker and easier. It’s not really that practical and a bit awkward to use. I will give it another try but I think it’s actually easier with out the slicer when cutting bread .
