The best bedding I’ve used so far
I got this bedding to use with my hamsters as my normal bedding (carefresh) has been out of stock for a while and I’m so glad I did as it’s so much better and will be the bedding I use from now on. I got the 178l and it comes in at about the same price as 120l of carefresh. Both state that the amount they say is in the bag is when it’s out of the packaging and isn’t compacted down, however in order to hold tunnels you do need the bedding to stay as compacted as possible in the enclosure so I don’t pay much attention to those numbers. What I do know is it normally takes 120l of carefresh to fill my enclosure, but with this bedding I had around a quarter left over, so it works out better value for money! It’s also extremely soft and feels like it would be much more comfy for my hamster than my old bedding. She has so far gotten on really well with it. She has burrowed down in it and it doesn’t seem to have any issues holding her burrows. It’s also still smells fresh after a few weeks which is a good sign as we try to do big bedding changes as little often as possible. Overall I think this is a fantastic bedding and though not the cheapest out there is does to be better quality than the likes of Fitch or teabag bedding AND is better value for money in regards to how much you get than carefresh and personally I think it’s better quality than carefresh as well. I’d most definitely recommend it.

it’s good for price but found blue bits through out the bedding😊
I like this bedding, it’s good for the price, the batch I did get though was a bit strange, I found blue bits all through out the bedding and i had to pick them out as i had no idea what they were, the bedding also has a yellow undertone to it ( I don’t know if it was just my batch aha) (I use kaytee clean and cosy as well but not for these last couple of months and you can tell the colour difference) so a tiny bit difficult when trying to spot clean and you can’t smell the pee etc, but to be honest, the amount you get in the bag, for the price as well is great and it’s really soft, would probably buy again:)

So good it even comes with a smile on the box!
I originally used to use Kaytee soft and cosy but switched to this because I saw the large 178ltr bag advertised for far less than I was paying. When it arrived I was immediately struck by the fact that it is completely dust free. The Kaytee advertised as 99% free but was always dusty and making my Guinea pigs cough and sneeze. This Small pet select has no dust whatsoever and although it isn’t as cotton like as the previous brand I used it has much more loft. It stays fluffy for longer and so actually pans out to be much softer and kinder to my piggies than I thought it would at first. It also seems to be very absorbent and odour controlling. My pair of Guinea pigs love this. As soon as it goes in they are straight onto it and stretching out and bury themselves into a pile of it and fall asleep. I can often feel the warmth that the small pet select bedding has built up underneath them when they get up! I love the value for money and the lack of dust it’s a huge bonus especially when one of the piggies tends to sneeze a lot with dustier options. Having a paper bedding thats unbleached means they are ok to eat it if they choose to and I don’t have to worry about the bedding being white. I know this bedding comes in several different colours and styles but I use white. It also means that they enjoy their time sleeping and rubbing their bellies in the bedding. It’s got great odour control so having indoor Guinea pigs means you don’t end up smelling anything and mess is kept to a minimum. It’s so easy to clean up, you just brush it right out and usually nothing has made it to the base of the hutch because the bedding absorbs it all. Best of all the 178 litre bag can be stored in the room with your Guinea pigs as there is zero dust coming from the bag and you don’t have to use a hoover to clean up the dusty after effects of changing the bedding. A whole bag will last for a good while, I like to put about a 1 inch layer of bedding in the hutch which isn’t very much given how much loft this has. It spreads out so well as it doesn’t clump together and it really does come out as finely separated cuts of cotton/paper like bedding. It isn’t hard or compressed into lumps. And then between the 2 piggies I clean out the hutch every other day or two. It really depends on them, but the bedding is never the reason I need to change the hutch. Usually with other brands it’s the bedding beginning to lack in the odour control or absorbency areas that cause clean outs. It’s lovely to know that if things smell good to me then they smell good to my Guinea pigs. Best of all this ships out usually next day and there are always little things like leaflets with discounts or promotions on. The company even leaves smiles and thank you’s on the box! Overall I’m really happy with this product and I think anyone who switches from something else will be pleased with it too. Anything that makes my pigs happy and is good value for money is always a win, and I’m sure that switching has made both the Guinea pigs healthier. They don’t sneeze anymore and they both seem to enjoy more time laying down and snuggling. If it was out of ten they would get 10/10

Happy hamster
I highly recommend this paper. It’s fluffy but still chunky enough to hold a burrow, it isn’t prone to dust up the way paper pulp bedding tends to and it smells very mild even for paper bedding. It also came earlier than delivery times stated. My baby also rates it-as shown

Random bits of blue tape
This is my first time using this bedding and when I spread it out in my hamster enclosure there were all these little blue bits (like microfibre tape or something) - I’m assuming they’re not supposed to be in there…Hope they’re not unsafe for hamsters 🫣🫠

Bedding that stands the test of time
According to my order history on this account alone, I have purchased this product 23 times. That's just this size. And each one of these lasts me about a month and a half. That should tell you how much I like this product. I've been able to rely on this product for years for my hamsters, and the quality has remained high throughout. The price hasn't fluctuated that much either - it's probably gone up by about a tenner in the last few years. Generally, it's good value for money when compared to rival products. The only difference between this and the brown paper bedding and the colour. If you don't dare about that, then go with whichever is cheaper. But the white does help with spot cleaning. Can't really go wrong and nothing bad to say. Thanks for everything and keep it up!

So much better than wood shavings for hamsters.
I never use wood shavings for my hamsters as can cause eye irritations. this product is lovely and soft and virtually dust free. yes it is more expensive than shavings but worth the investment.

I tried every bedding I could find. The paper pellets have sharp edges and all the other paper beddings are incredibly dusty. This one is dusty too, but acceptable in comparison. My winter white is safe with it.

This product is a bad value for money. Paper quality is poor and feel clumped. Also price has doubled in 6 months. Cheeky sellers

My hamster loves this bedding. We've switched from pine chip and couldn't be happier. No dust, and she wasn't stressed when we changed it(she usually is) she loves digging around in this stuff. Would recommend.
