5 Waffle Stick Maker

Q: What premade mixes have any of you found that work best? Is a "belgium waffle mix" necessary? If not, please share! Thank you!

I have used Farmhouse Pancake and waffle mix (found herein Amazon) and it was good. I have also used Jiffy Blueberry muffin mix in this with no problems at all.

Q: Is there a big difference between this waffle maker and the mini version? Looks like this one make only 1 more stick and $20 more expensive. ??

All I know is it makes great waffles . 5 waffle sticks is more than enough. It heats fast and so easy to clean. I'm happy with my choice. I looked a all kinds this worked for me. I now make waffles 1 a week.

Q: How thick are the waffle sticks?

I would say about 3/4" thick, it could be a little thicker.

Q: What size is each waffle strick?

They are 4" x 1 1/2". Perfect size for small hands or to make finger food snacks. I used a tape measure this morning. I had the maker out of the cabinet because I just used it yesterday. Much to my guests delight.
