Good and Bad
The good: This is the 2nd product I bought. Virtually identical in looks. The first one (from a different manufacturer) wouldn't even connect to my nighthawk - clearly the product wasn't TS9. This product did connect to the Nighthawk MR1100. The bad news is my signal got weaker instead of stronger. I tried it in multiple locations and tested the strength many times at different times. I think for some (maybe more) the product will work from what I have read. Unfortunately I am on the side where it doesn't. I will be returning.

Not for external use if you need magnetic mounts and very minimal gain, if any.
To say that these antennas have magnetic bases is a stretch. The magnets are very weak and might stay put on top of a filing cabinet but that's all. The RG-174 is very, very lossy at GHz frequencies and only serve to provide very slight gain, if any. The Netgear Nighhawk MR-1100 does work quite well on its own, so these didn't seem to have any effect. The real deal breaker was the lack of magnetic strength.

Necessity for any hotspots
I always have a Netgear Unite Pro with me for data connections for my laptop or tablet. While choosing the best carrier for my Unite Pro is a necessity this antenna is also one. When using the Antenna it speeds up my download and upload reducing that infuriating buffer wheel. It also helps out on road trips when you're in dodgy places needing a signal.

Don’t waste your money
These were tried on two different mifi units while RVing in north Ga. The signals were identical with or without the additional antennas. Also the magnet on the bottom is too small to hold the antenna to the vehicle roof while traveling at higher speeds.

Fewer bars with NETGEAR 4G LTE Modem
Project seems nice enough, but simply does not improve the reception of for "NETGEAR 4G LTE Modem" . Seems kinda clear cut - In my case it didn't help and reception is better without the antennas.

They get the job done I suppose
They seem fine other than the connections aren't tight so they come loose over time and the magnetic bottom is pretty much trash I have fridge magnets that would work better than the magnets in these

They work.
I live in a bad spot for 4G reception. AT&T is the best and that is not saying a lot. These work as well as can be expected. The only way to do better is with an outside mounted alternative.

Don't spend money on junk. No matter how much DB GAIN THEY ADVERTISE. AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN!
Joke, save your money or get a coat hanger with two wires and make a homemade antenna. CRAP.OH THE MAGNETIC BASE, I AM USING FOR REFRIGERATOR MAGNET.
