Very good docking station for the Surface Pro 4
This is a very good docking station for the Surface Pro 4. The one criticism that I have is that due to the thickness/configuration of the ethernet port, the computer will not close flat when the dock is attached. This could have been prevented with a very simple redesign that put the extra thickness on the opposite side from where it is currently located. It does fit nicely above the charging port of the computer. It is nice to have the HDMI port and ethernet port that the Surface Pro does not have.

Network connection without problems
This device is a relief! After hours of frustration trying to keep a wireless connection to my home network on a Surface Pro 4, I needed a method for a wired connection, and this device did the trick. Having two USB ports is an added plus since I usually need just one more after using one for my wireless mouse receiver. This is a much better solution than the $199 docking device from Microsoft. I'm happy with this device. It arrived quickly and installed with no issues.UPDATE - the LAN connection stopped working the first time I shut down the computer. After several attempts at troubleshooting and trying to fix the problem, I'm returning the device for a replacement.

Perfect addition to my Surface Pro 4
Great for traveling as it adds an additional USB connection, an RJ45 network connection and HDMI connection and a couple of card readers. Small and lite weight. Plugged in and had no problems using it.

This device is great. Allowed me to set up my home office with a monitor, wireless mouse and keyboard using my Surface Pro as the PC.

Stay away!
Finally got around to using this, the HDMI port only works at a certain angles and the SD card slot does not recognize any of my SD cards. Would not recommend

Does not fit
Does not fit my surface pro 4 and I am deploying this week land cannot return it.
