2 for the price of one what a deal if they both work. I should have paid more attention to the reviews. With my order only 1 worked and very well. I'm hard of hearing and I could hear the alarm all through my 1300 sq. ft. home & even outside on the back patio or front porch with the doors closed. MAKES you want to turn off the stove or oven and timer right away. The other showed all back word L's whatever that means, the instructions do not say. After trying to set the timer it kept going back to 00's 00's beyond the 55 min. or 55 sec. mark and when the alarm did go off you could barely hear it with your ear next to it. I'll have t see how long the good one lasts. I wish Amazon would make it easy to return defected products, with a return label & free return shipping like QVC & HSN. Buy your electrical products at a brick and mortar store & get your $ back or exchange bad products the same day. Paul

Needed count down timers for use in test rooms and wanted silent ones that alerted the proctors with a flashing light. Most other manufacturers charge close to $20 per counter but this one was a two-pack for about $10, so I bought several. The more expensive ones don't really last any longer because the proctors drop them or knock them off the desk while passing out or collecting the test books, so all types of counters get broken very easily. These are the most cost-effective ones I could find. I'll buy these again if my proctors keep dropping and breaking them!

Battery is installed BUT has a plastic wrap so it doesn't start functioning (wearing down) until you remove the wrap & reinstall. Pretty good price for a very basic timer but other than these 2 items it's a very basic timer.SOUND: Either on or off. ON - Not what I would describe as 'loud'; OFF/MUTE - Unless you're looking directly at the timer you won't see the flashing red light. It's not 'bright' & definitely not bright enough to catch your attention.MAGNETIC: It will stick to the frig but I've had timers with much stronger magnets. Any child could very easily pull this off anything it's stuck to.COUNT UP/DOWN: Counts down like a typical timer but does not start a count up once the initial time has run out. In other words, if you missed hearing it go off & the time you set has expired, it does not 'count up' to tell you how much time has passed since.My husband is hard of hearing & would never hear this unless it was sitting right next to him & he likes a 'count up' function. It won't work for us to they are being returned.

My 6 year old son does great at having a visual for how long he has to get things like homework and chores done. We have one of these at home and sent the other one to school, since his teacher said he could use one for staying on task at school as well. When it is on the beeping setting, it's very loud, but when he is at school, he can just have it on the silent setting, so that way a tiny light blinks, but it doesn't disturb the class.

These timers are replacing a mechanical one that died. We like their easy operation, large display, option to either count up or count down, good holding power on the magnetic back, it sticks good on our refrigerator door, ability to silence the alarm if wanted, and it turns off either by itself or manually. Two items not so good were the 2 switches on the back of it are small, but once set you do not need to change them. The other item is there is no stand or device on the back of it to let you set it on a counter on an angle like your typical phone case has. Again not a problem for us as it sticks on our refrigerator door. Yes I would buy these again.

THE CLOCK COMPLETELY TURNS OFF AFTER 30 SECONDS OF NON-USE...GREAT BATTERY SAVER. ALTHOUGH I WISH THE DISPLAY WAS LARGER, I STILL GIVE THIS TIMMER FIVE STARS. RECOMMEND PURCHASE !

Timer turns off /goes blank. I was using it to keep time cooking dinner, I have no idea when it turned off, but it did not do the trick. When I checked to see how much time was left, it was completely blank/ off. Thank goodness I checked when I did and was able to save dinner. Should have known better to trust it, when I opened the package, you can tell it’s not a quality product. Cheap plastic “kickstand” and battery door are thin and snap/ break easily. Disappointing waste of $8.

Simple operation, cheap looking, but good enough for my purpose. Has 3 yr warranty, but since new no feedback on longevity. Beep loud for alert mode. Bright red light great in silent mode.

you hold the button and the minutes tot up to what you want to time, with an annoying beep it has to be said, then hit go. Its loud enough to be heard in another room. Magnet is ok, stand too! It remembers the time you had set, or quick reset to zero. Having two makes my cooking style really well timed!

the kitchen timer is clear and easy to read also to use, the alarm volume is loud enough to hear from anywhere in my house which makes cooking/baking easier because when the alarm sounds there is no mistaking it or the possibility of not hearing it, the twin pack means you have a spare or you can set two different times for different things. The fold-out stand and magnets make using the timers anywhere on the bench or on a fridge a breaze

This product is excellent and, with two timers supplied in the box, very good value for money. In addition, for those of us with hearing difficulties, it is nice and LOUD!
